Shadowheart let out a little mrrow of amuzement as his paws pounded the earth, gulping in the cool night air like fresh water in greenleaf. He could hear Fernfur gaining on him, but he was almost to their destination, and a new energy burst through him. Just a little longer...

Rockpaw purred as he stayed ahead of Pouncerpaw, but then he tripped over his soft kitten paws and landed chin-first on the ground with a painful thud. He let out a squeak of pain, slowly sitting up.

Fernfur caught up to him, her paws pounding the ground. "You're so dead!"

Shadowheart laughed, his tail streaming like a banner as he ran. "In your dreams!"

Fernfur suddenly crashed into him.

Pouncerpaw helped him up "You ok!?"

"......Yeah.. I'm okay. I fall a lot." Rockpaw shrugged and smiled up at Pouncerpaw. "Thank you."

She smiled looking at the sky then seeing a butterfly "Wanna follow it?"

Rockpaw nodded, creeping up silently on the butterfly.

((OMG THIS WEEK SUCKS! My daughters best friend died of blood cancer, HE WAS 4! And my nephew committed suicide 30 minutes ago and he was 16! I have to get to the hospital and see if he survives. I might be on my phone))
