Sagepaw watched Moonshade with a loving look. She looked up to Moonshade. Sagepaw shook her head, "Sorry," She murmured, with a glint of humor. The young she-cat widened her eyes, "Really? So..you can see these starry looking cats walking among us too?" She asked, and looked around. She knew Moonshade couldn't see her, but what about the other dead clan mates that Sagepaw was seeing? She had to know.

Eaglesong flinched as Spiderfrost swatted him in the face with her paw. Eaglesong opened his eyes after she swatted him and stared at her fiercely, "Yes, I know what I'm saying!" He growled. "And anyways, it's not like you like me back," He mewed, hurt in his voice. He didn't like the fact of liking someone who couldn't, or didn't like him back, but he needed to tell her.

Moonshade cocked her head. There are other Starclan cats here? The young deputy shook her head. "No. Not now. I mean, they speak to me even when I'm not sleeping at random times... Which is strange because I'm no medicine cat." She sighed, wishing she could see Sagepaw. "A few have been some fallen warriors from here, reassuring me that it was alright for me to be deputy; since I wasn't born here. I wasn't sure about myself then but they seemed pretty sure. Then Secretgrudge helped me with-" she trailed off, smiling at the amusing memories of the two bickering only because he had wanted her to succeed in being a good leader... which lead to her falling for him without her knowing and him announcing he was in love with her this whole time. But then her smile faded when she remembered their awful fight in the forest when Sagepaw was in trouble about the kits... She sighed. "My... my mother spoke to me once. That was the strangest of all."

Sagepaw nodded, it was indeed strange for she wasn't a medicine cat. Sagepaw wanted her to go on about Secretgrudge, but she knew that would be rude. "Your mother?" She asked, then purred. Suddenly, screeches of horror came from the ghostly like clan.Sagepaw gasped as the barriers of Wishclan were smashed down with ease. "Badgers!" She gasped as the whole clan ran away in panic. Yowls of terror seized the whole camp. Sagepaw thought she couldn't be seen, but as a badger headed strait towards her, she fluffed out her fur and hissed. The badger just walked through her. Confused, she turned around where the warrior's den should be, and in the ghostly camp, it was the nursery. She noticed a she-cat shuffling kits out of the nursery, and widened her eyes as she figured out who it was. It was her! The badger was hurling straight towards her. With one shriek of terror, she fell silent. Warriors killed the badger right away, and all grew quiet. Everything was calm. One kit's shriek broke the silence. "No! Mom!" She yowled. Sagepaw couldn't see anything, until a warrior took a step back. it was Moonshade! Sagepaw stared at the bloody body and relized it was her. The badger had killed her. With one swipe. Sagepaw turned around to have her vision back. Everything was okay. The real clan and the ghostly clan. Was that her fate? Sagepaw looked to see Moonshade still there. Sagepaw looked at her paws as they were turning clear, they were..fading! "Mooshade! What's happenin-" She was cut off as a breeze blew her away, and opened her eyes with a gasp. Sagepaw was lying in the medicine cat den, and Starpaw was checking her leg. Starpaw looked up and saw her awake. "Sagepaw! Your awake!" She exclaimed, then frowned. "Sadly, your head was-" Sagepaw interrupted her, "My head was hit, and my leg is broken. Yeah, and my kits are surviving," She growled, pain was piercing her heart. "Shh, how did you know that? Never mind, rest, stress is hurting you," "Where is Moonshade!?" She yowled. "Moonshade!" She tried yowling again, but it came out a whimper from pain. "Stay still!" Starpaw hissed.

Spiderfrost Tensely held her paws in place as she stared hard at Eaglesong. Her white pelt fluffed up on her nape uncomfortable.
"I-Its not because i hate you...I cant...You..." she struggled with her words, she was not expecting such a thing to happen to her and her whole mind was turned upside down.
"Its just...You...You shouldn't love a cat with blood on her paws!" she screeched, but instantly regretted her slip of the tongue. She wasn't suppose to say that!

Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost as her fur fluffed out. Then flattened his ears at her response. "B-blood on your paws?" He scampered, then looked at her paws. "What do you mean?" He hissed, staring at her.

The medicine cat cursed and turned away to go back to camp and check on Sagepaw. She completely slipped up, she wasn't suppose to slip up, she couldn't afford to have anyone else know.
"Look Eaglesong....just...just don't love me ok, I'm not exactly the type of cat you want raising kits."
[this is where Eaglesong should start snooping into Spiderfrosts past with the help of awkwardly stoic kitty kat: Secretgrudge]

Moonshade watched as Sagepaw seemed to space out a little, and mewed softly, "Sagepaw? You ok-" Then she disappeared. The dark, pretty she-cat's fur fluffed up in her confusion and she let out a hiss, now alone again. Was that a dream? Or did that actually just happen to me... She shook her head; feeling like her brain was jumbled into mush. Then she pricked her ears as she heard the faint call of her name. "Sagepaw?" she called back but figured it was too quiet for her to hear. She shot out of the warrior's den; pushing past the cats who were in her way. If Sagepaw was in trouble again, she would stop at nothing to help her. "Sagepaw! MOVE!" she snarled at a confused cat who was in her way. He moved to the side, obeying his deputy in his shock at how urgent she sounded.
Moonshade burst into the medicine cat den, standing up straight despite her injured leg. The pregnant apprentice seemed to be calling her name like her life depended on it. "Sagepaw! You're awake!" she exclaimed and nuzzled her apprentice affectionately. She looked at the white she-cat's troubled face and licked the top of her head in a sort of motherly way. "Hey, Shhh... Relax." She wondered if she was like this because of what just happened.

Sagepaw watched Moonshade as Moonshade barged into the Medicine Cat Den. Sagepaw attempted to stiffle up a purr, and looked at her. "I-I think a badger...might attack us.." She whispered, looking up at the deputy, she felt loved. Moonshade was not just her mentor. She was her friend..a mother..in a way. She had lost everything the day she jumped off the fence between the clan world, and the two-leg world. Her mate, brothers and sisters, mother and father. But, she didn't need them. For Moonshade had filled that hole in her heart, and her kits would do the same for her lost mate. But would she really survive to see them become apprentice's? Warriors? Medicine cats? Deputy? Even leader? Her fate was uncertain, and the vision still haunted her. Her kits seemed to be about four to six moons old. So, she would watch out in those times. But that would ruin the fun of having to raise kits wouldn't it? Fearing every day that the next day, may be your last. No. She was going to live. Going to live until she died in the elder's den of old age, not by trying to save her kits at twenty moons. She wants to grow old, and find another mate, to see Moonshade possibly become Moonstar. To support Moonshade in every time. Thick and thin. To help her kits with training and knowledge. To help the clan in various battles. That was her fate. Maybe not to be remembered from moons to pass, but to be a great warrior in upholding Wishclan's traditions, to mentor to teach young to be great. That was her fate, and if Starclan was to try and stop her, she would like to see them try. A broken leg won't stop her. A few scratches won't wound her. A little blood won't weaken her. She, was Sagepaw.

Eaglesong watched as Spiderfrost turned away and said one more thing. "I didn't mean to have kits necessarily," He called back, and sighed. "What happened?" He asked. "To make you seem to take any joy, and to rip it to shreds? What happened to the Spiderpaw I knew?" He declared, "What happened to being able to listen, and not regret? To take something and to see the good in it, Spiderfrost?" He yowled angrily, and stomped to the fresh kill pile. He wasn't hungry. He just had to get away. Eaglesong sighed.
