Leaf leaped for the kill. She pounced on the rabbit and bit it on its back. But it didn't die. It squirmed in her grasp. She put it down to bit its neck and snapped its back bone. She had killed it!

Notch smiled. "well done."

Looking to Leaf I was pretty happy she caught her first prey. I gave a smile before going up to her and giving a nuzzle to her cheek. "You did it Leaf." With a smile I looked to the rabbit before heading back to Notch a small yawn escaping my muzzle.

Notch smiled and looked at Magnum. he licked her cheek. "I think some ones tired."

I looked to Notch as he spoke before protesting. "Me, tired? Nope I'm wide awake?" I gave a display of my energy but it eventually drained just a few seconds after. "Okay ... maybe a little, but can I try hunting before we head back?"

Notch nodded. "Sure theres another rabbit just up there." He said

Looking into the direction his words suggested, I spotted a brown mass of fur just sitting there nibbling away at the grass. I gave a nod to Notch before crouching down as he had told Leaf to do. From there I pretty much used the movement's I'd observed her doing and crept forward, making the pounce and keeping a grip onto the rabbit's body before moving towards it throat to kill. Sure enough it worked and I had caught my first kill, giving me a bit of excitement.

Notch sat down and watched

I dragged the rabbit's lifeless body back with me as I intended to return to Notch. It was a task,, more than I thought it would be to pull along an animal. Dropping it I looked to Notch before tilting my head. "Why are you so nice to us all of a sudden? Not that it's not nice but it just suddenly happened."

Notch tilted his head. "I guess I was just in a bad mood at the time...I'm sorry but I dont really like to be disrespected....but I guess you cubs will learn in time."
