From what I recall last year, Tess was very busy and delayed the anniversary a bit so she could enjoy it too.

for those debating the day of the anniversary, I believe we did celebrate on the 8th last year. But the date is pretty artificial, since I'm pretty sure the adoptables started in late May xD I just celebrate it on the 8th of April because anything else clashes with my university work too badly.
