Austria tensed out of reflex as he heard another's voice, having expected things to be rather quiet. It seemed that wasn't the case. He scolded himself mentally for reacting as he had, but found relief in not being utterly alone. As Fiji approached, the Austrian's gaze lightened some; he didn't want to show his irritation, if it was at all possible. "Guten Tag, Fiji." He greeted her politely, with a small nod, and sighed quietly. "Yes, that's correct, unfortunately." He replied, unable to help but smile a bit at Fiji's expression. It wasn't one he saw often, considering how reclusive he usually was. It was completely welcome, though. "I don't have to stay long, luckily enough. Though this valk is hardly vorth it..." He lightly nudged a pebble with his foot, slowly continuing to walk forward. "I'd much rather be at home right now, to be completely honest vith you... I just need to... check on something in this place." He added, his gaze flickering to the path ahead before looking back to Fiji. "I assume you heard the rumors, then? Considering you called it 'that haunted place'." The Austrian's voice lowered to a murmur as he took another look around, seeming to be speaking to himself. "Gott, I vish there vas a piano out here..." His fingers tapped his arms, somewhat resembling the action of playing the piano. This was one of his many stubborn quirks, which he hardly noticed anymore.

Prussia followed after Italy and Japan at a more leisurely pace, his hands behind his head. He was staring up at the sky, lost in thought for once. 'I wonder if Roddy's going to go through with the dare...' His lips tugged up into a smirk. 'Of course he will, he's waaay too prideful to not go through with it. Besides, he knows he'd never hear the end of it if he didn't~' He blinked and came out of his thoughts, seeing everyone ahead of him. He sighed and quickened his pace to catch up with them, letting his hands drop to his sides.

England grumbled softly under his breath, walking up the path to the mansion with the rest of the group. How in the world did he get convinced to do this..? He crossed his arms and huffed softly, recalling the events that led him to this bloody mansion. He rolled his eyes at his gullibility; why in the world could he not resist that git's puppy-dog eyes? He should have grown out of it a long time ago... He sighed and focused his gaze ahead, frowning at the nervous feeling bubbling at the pit of his stomach. All of the normal fairies and other creatures were starting to thin out, most of them not daring to go anywhere near the mansion. Even Flying Mint Bunny had opted to stay home instead of come with him...

Illinois kept a pace leaving her ten feet behind Russia. She didn't bother to look behind herself to see how far behind the others had fallen. She had a look of annoyance possibly due to the fact that most of the states were all to scared to venture into this old "haunted" mansion. It not as much as she didn't believe there were ghosts as much as she thought that the rumors might have been blow out of proportion. "It probably just some furniture that moves around every so often and sometimes you hear "eerie" sound coming an unknown location." The state thought to herself. She looked up at the mansion seeing how big it was. She figured it take them a few hours or more to explore the whole place. It good thing for her that she didn't have any plans for the rest of the day. Illinois gave a sigh wondering what "spooks" they had in store for themselves.

I nodded to Japan with a small sigh, wondering how much longer it would take to get to the mansion. I wasn't afraid or anything like that, but what if something did try to attack us or something in there? No. Nothing like that is going to happen, so don't worry about it. I told myself quietly in my head.

Aeryn's lips twitched upward in her gentle smile. She heard his reply to her question, and she blinked, seeing that he wasn't all that pleased. The way she stood there, listening to Roderich just exemplified her calm stature, even in their situation. She leaned back on her heels, swaying back and forth slightly, she clearly wasn't worried at all. Her eyebrows were barely raised, showing she was content, her almond shaped eyes dulled with easy cheer. It was so natural for her, she clearly didn't even need to try to relax herself, it just came to her naturally. She was much less energetic, unlike her older brother Antonio, but she held his same kindness, and willingness to help others."Well, I'm sorry that you didn't want to go, but we could go there together, since we're already going to the same place!" She suggested, smiling calmly, not phased by his irritations breaking.
Aeryn walked beside him, her hands held behind her back as she hummed. She looked over to Roderrich and watched his finger drum up and down his arm. She smiled, holding her chuckle back before she thought of something. She began to hum her favorite lullabye. She closed her eyes and her smile stayed in place, continuing her sweet humming.

Italy ~ Feliciano Vargas

Italy smiled brightly, shaking his head a bit. "Ve~ I don't think anyone is trying to play a trick on us, Japan~ But I'lll keep my guard up like you asked me to~" The Italian half-giggled, half-chuckled, his smile growing slightly as he made his way through the trees. "We're almost there! Yay~! From what I heard, the mansion should be just through these trees~"

Italy Romano ~ Lovino Vargas

Romano sat on the floor of his home, both his legs and arms crossed in pure irrtation. A look of anger was on his face; though his brown eyes were tinted just slightly with worry. It had been two days since that b*st*rd Veneziano had gone 'missing'. TWO DAYS. Lovi had tried calling him a million times, though he never answered. Not even once. "D**nit! D**n him... Sh*t. Where the h*ll did he go?! He won't pick up his f**king phone, jeez- He just LOVES to worry me, doesn't he?! C-Chigi!" The Southern Italian shook his head, unfolding his arms quietly and taking out his phone. "That's it. I'm going to look for him. F**king- Uggh... But I don't want to go by myself..." He sighed, holding back a facepalm as he dialed Spain's number; deciding that he would allow the idiot to come along- since he didn't want to be by himself. Antonio had been whining about wanting to spend time with him for the longest time, anyways... "This b*st*rd is going to have to come with me." Lovino sighed once more and held the phone up to his ear, waiting for the Spainard to pick up.

Switzerland gave a stressed sigh, and patrolled around his house. His trigger finger was itchy. He paused wondering how long it had been since Italy had streaked across his yard. "Liechtenstein?" he called hoping to speak with his adoptive sister, it had been a couple hours she checked in on him.

Austria remained quiet for a moment before nodding slowly. "I suppose that vould be acceptable. Probably smarter than going alone." He agreed, catching his fingers tapping on his arms. He didn't stop them, however, as this action did serve as some stress relief, at least, though it wasn't anywhere near the feeling of actually playing. It was almost like holding a baby carrot to try and suppress the need to smoke, as he held a similar addiction to the piano. Luckily, it wasn't near as unhealthy; Austria wouldn't dare touch such a vile form of relaxation, or whatever it was used for. The Austrian snapped himself from his thoughts, realizing how spacey he could be sometimes. It was then that he picked up the soft sounds coming from Fiji, and glanced towards her, a small gleam of curiosity in his nearly amethyst eyes. As he realized what Fiji was doing, he opened his mouth slightly to question her, but closed it again, deciding to simply continue to walk. He didn't want to disturb her, especially when the humming was rather relaxing. It didn't make up for his need to play either, but it also served to calm his irritation a bit, at the least. Austria simply looked ahead, searching for any sign of the mansion. "I vonder how long it vill be..." He thought aloud, quietly.

"Thank you." Japan murmured, dipping his head slightly before offering a small smile, following Italy through the trees. "Good, that sounds fine. We've been walking for a while, it seems... It'd be nice to take a moment to rest once we get there, if you all don't mind it." He mumbled, linking his hands together and glancing down at his shoes before looking back up once again, his gaze trained in front of him.
