Leaf nodded but said nothing. She licked his muzzle and looked into his eyes. They were dark and soft. Had he really loved her all along?

I couldn't help but find this very touching and sweet. With a sniffle I wiped a small tear from my cheek with my paw and gave a smile. "That was so sweet."

Leaf pricked her ears and looked up from in between her father's paws. She turned to Magnum and smiled. "Get in her, sis," she said. Technically, it was her sister. After all, they had the same dad.

I looked down to Leaf before sliding off Notches head to get in on the action. With a nuzzle to my sister I enjoyed the sudden family bonding between us cubs and out father. I guess you could say I'm a sucker for the family moments at times as it clearly showed itself to me and anyone around.

Notch smiled and gently picked Magnum up. He then put her down next to Leaf. Looking at his cubs, Notch smiled. He was glad that he had a family although they could be annoying at times but they were still cubs. He knew that their mothers were in heat and wandered what too do as rougues would be searching for females and a pride. He wasnt going to let anything happen to his family.

(aww ikr..I found it fun to show his soft side XD)

I felt more comfortable knowing that we finally bonding instead of potentially growing apart. { aww I have wb :c }

Notch smiled at his two cubs. "How about I take you cubs on a trial hunt?" He said. Although he wasnt the pride unter, he still knew how to hunt.
