Once he was sure that his sister was nowhere in camp, Cloud darted immediately through the closest undergrowth and out into the forest. Rather than stop and sniff the ground for MoonGlow's scent, the pup lifted his nose to the stray breeze to try and catch the familiar smell. When he found nothing, panic once again flooded the cream-and-white wolf's brain before he shook his head vigorously. She wouldn't have gone far, she'd never leave you, he thought and repeated like a mantra in his head. Eyes piercing through the twilight night, ears pricked to listen to that which was around him, Cloud wandered away from the pack's camp and deeper into the trees. What he didn't know is that he was taking a route that would be a long roundabout path to his sister and the wolf confronting her; or that he would run into another wolf before he found Moon.

Kenji was deep in the forest, the only thing she was interested in was figuring out where she was and getting food. She hadn't been here very long, and she didn't have any idea where she was. The small pup was a little scared and nervous, but being her stubborn self would deny anything like that.
Kenji lowered herself to the ground, hiding herself in the tall grass. Her blue-grey eyes scanned the area for any movement, or anything that she might be able to make a meal out of. Watching carefully, she began to silently move through the grass. Her ears turned as she heard something in the distance. She wasn't sure what it was yet, so she stayed down in the grass, waiting.
