Because it's a cool idea, and really, it's quite scary to know someone paid 300+ pets (A variety of 2008s to 2009s, to uncommon-rare-very rare-OMG so rare) for one July Lion. (True story; a friend showed me a trade.)

Well, I personally think this has gotten out-of-hand. In May(?), the Lynx PPS was high demand. Now, nobody even cares about that pet. {Nobody; as not very many CS users.} Now, it's the July Lion. I am just waiting for the rarity to be released, because I would pity the people who paid like over 20+ rares for something that was uncommon or such. {Unless if it was already released...If not, never mind.}
