Awwh! Thank you guys! Teyha is a bit more timid, and likes to hide in her home and watch me take Delilah out before she decides to follow. Delilah however loves being taken out and even standson her back feet and 'kisses' - which means puts her nose and mouth close to yours - when you open the cage door! I'm hoping they warm up to me soon, because I want to start teaching them tricks!

Such gorgeous rats being posted lately. All the beautiful blues and fawns *^*

I really have to stop myself from buying this little female that looks just like my Mini Ryu.

I think they may be related too, because it's the same store (I know, pet stores are bad, but the only place around here that doesn't sell feeders)

I can't have anymore though, especially since I finally re homed five of them yesterday.
I gotta stop myself when we go back today to pick up food.

{What kind of tricks? I want to teach my boys some, too. I'm working on coming when I call them; Remy, he's getting it, but Bowser doesn't. It's funny, when I first got them, I thought Remy was the hyper one, but I quickly found out it's the other way around. In fact, while Remy is happy just to sit on my shoulder, Bowser will not. sit. still. at all. I had Remy on my shoulder for a little while yesterday, and he was so quiet, I could have forgotten he was there.}
{They're so fun, though. Everyone loves them, even my friend who said she hates rats. She admitted they were adorable, multiple times x3}

Why did you rehome 5?

They were all fosters. Three of them were from my rescue litter, and the other two were my rescued girls.
I'm not giving up anymore of them though, I just can't stand to.

Today I decided to go out and buy a new rat. This time I avoided PetCo and Petsmart and went to another place who's rat workers actually know what they're talking about, and actually encourage you to buy two instead of saying; "Oh no, they're fine alone!"

Well.. I came home with two. I thought; "Oh I'll have enough time for it!" But then I thought.. what about during the school year when I'm gone all day? So I picked out two little females, a russian blue, and a russian fawn. They are really lively, soft, and the first thing they did when I put them in their cage is start cleaning eachother. I'm super glad I got two, because I won't have to worry about my rat being alone.

Obviously, Tehya is the smallest. I think Delilah is just a bit older than her.

Bentley eats what my adults do, plus fruits.. veggies.. you name it he LOVES it.

Also, I suckered myself into another female, who just might be pregnant.. won't know for another week. She's a black variberk.. but the thing is.. she has a chocolate stripe ALL the way down her back! it doesn't look like baby fur, so I really don't know what's up with that. While Bentley is still young enough & unable to get her pregnant I have them together. In a week I'm moving Oliver into Bentley's cage and Sally into Syria's cage. Syria is due any day now..

With all that said, I bought some new cages to make some room.

So, in total - I now have..

Sharkie - black berkshire
Sadie - amber self
Simeon - black mismark hooded
Sailar - mink mismark hooded
Syria - mink HEAVY hooded
Oliver - silver mismark fawn
Bentley - agouti mismark hooded
& Sally - 'black' minimal variberk

With Sally, it's only on her tummy, but it's speckled and everything like a variberk so I don't know what to really call her.

I'll have pictures up of all my darlings soon. ^_^

.. also.. anyone in Alabama? I want to rehome Syria's babies as strictly pets. I have two friends taking 2-3 each off my hands.. but I don't know how big this litter will be, you know?
