Cam hugged her back.

Jasper smiled at them, but sighed when he heard Mack cough. When it went on for longer than normal, Jasper put Lucy down, and raced in.

Cara gently set Cam down, frowning and hurrying after him.

Jasper was sitting next to Mack, biting his lip. It was obvious just my looking at him he wasn't making it through this one. He was pale, and breathing heavily.

Cara sat on the other side of Mack, taking his hand gently. She kissed his forehead. "We love you Mack, it'll be okay."

Mack coughed again. "I'm sorry, guys." He said.

Cam walked in. "Mommy, what's wrong with uncle Macky?"

Cara turned. "Go on out and play with Lucy, alright baby?"

Cam nodded, and walked out to Lucy.

Mack coughed again. "I love you guys. And the twins." He said weakly, coughing again. When he finished this time, he took about three breaths before he went lip, and his breath stopped.

Jasper looked at him, then to Cara, then back at Mack before collapsing onto him, and being seized with huge sobs.

Lucy smiled. "Hi Cammy!"

Cara closed the door, then sat again, allowing herself to sob.

Cam waved. "Hi." He said.

Jasper kept crying as his hand searched for Cara's.

"Wass wong?" she asked, tipping her head.

Cara found his hand and held tightly.
