Wild Mountain Equids: Feral Habitations V2

He lifted his head and perked his ears towards the west. Turning his gaze vacantly to the east, and the unknown scent, he mumbled to Aphrodite, "Let's head west and find a spot to venture up there. It's closer to the sea so there should be less predators, and probably less equids too." Turning and beginning to walk slowly towards the west he looks over to Aphrodite and conflict passes flashed through his eyes. She's the closest thing he's had to a friend and he felt as though he was holding her back from finding any herds and being accepted. Maybe he should just let her go and find others, she'd probably find less trouble without his company. It wasn't often that Perkta put others ahead of himself, but Aphrodite had shown him kindness that not many others had. She had been able to look past his gruff and harsh facade to accept him as he was. He cleared his throat and quietly spoke, "Erm, this probably isn't the way to go if you're looking for a herd. If you want I can go with you until you find a herd to make sure you're safe then leave you with them. I don't hold out much hope for myself finding a herd anytime soon, but I'm alright with that for now. He looked to the ground ahead of him, his tail swaying softly as they walked, "'Course you're always welcome to stay with me too though," he blurted out.

He is crushing on no-one

Kirian trotted through the trees, and soon he saw two equids, in the water. They seemed to be very lively, and happy. "Hey there!" Kirian called to them from his place near the trees.

Kirian trotted through the trees, and soon he saw two equids, in the water. They seemed to be very lively, and happy. "Hey there!" Kirian called to them from his place near the trees.

Aphrodite looks at him confused this is the first she has heard of this. Her ears flatten slightly. "I don't plan on joining a herd, for a long time." She says and continues, "They're no fun. Always having to obey someone's rules no place new to go. That's not what I want not yet. It'd be different if I had a mate or something but I have no reason to stay safe." She says with chuckle. "Personally I think It'd be funner to stay and fight nature with you than join some herd where there is no reason for me to join some herd where I know absolutely nobody there." She stops and walks ahead of perkta. "Come on, Let's get going before the wolves come out in search of prey." She says and continues to walk ahead of him. Her tail fail flicks it sways to the right. She was a bit annoyed to think that Perkta thought that she couldn't protect herself. But she'd get over it. She began to notice that her mane was still in her face. She huffs aggervated with her mane. She began to think of something that would prove Perkta wrong but she didn't say anything. She believed that it'd freak him out or something.

Perkta lowered his head slightly, he hadn't meant to offend his only companion but he wasn't all that surprised that he head. Shaking it off he trotted up next to her and flicked his tail into the air. "You're right, far too many rules and such in a herd. No need for any of that now, there's still too many things to explore and see," he smiled weakly. Perkta searched the base of the mountain for a slight trail they could begin to hike up. Spotting a break in the trees ahead he kicked up his heels and cantered towards it. Stopping at the mouth of the path he looked up, barely able to see the tip of the mountain looming over the trees. "Here seems like a good place to head up," he gave a brief bow and extended a foreleg, "After you," he said with a grin.

She rolls her eyes and smirks. She hits him in the back of the head white her plume tail, lightly as if she were teasing him. She snickers and continues walking out onto the path. Her tail sways from left to right as she walks out onto the path she walks until he was hidden behind the trees and waits for him. Her cream colored fur glitters in the moonlight. Her blue eyes gleam. She looks back impaciently waiting for Perkta. She smells the air making sure there are no wolves or other predators.

Perkta laughed after she hit him with her tail. She certainly was a feisty one. He trotted forward to meet her on the path. Her shining pelt catching his eye as he met her. He smirked and trotted past her, flicking her shoulder with his tail as he went. He looked back over his shoulder as he carried on, "Come on slow poke, don't need the wolves snatching you from me," he teased as he pushed further up the path into the thinning tree line.

She smiles and speeds up to meet his pace. She walks next to him. She walks next to him. Her hooves beating agianst the dirt and grass. She looks over at Perkta. Her smile softens. "So you haven't been in the mountains here?" She asks him. She didn't know what to say so just asked him something random about where they were going. She looks out at the the path in front of her. Her eyes soften as she looks around. She begins to think of something. Her smile turns into a small smirk.
