Sandra let out a short bark and backed up, realizing how she had zoned out while in the middle of talking to Zanis. How long had it been? At least a few minuets that she had just sat there, not moving or speaking and her expression just blank. Sandra sighed... so much was on her mind. So much she needed to say, so much she wished she could change. She was so close to having her thoughts turn into words, have everything she was thinking so hard about spill out. She had to force herself not to.

She couldn't seem shake the thoughts of how she should be there, helping Abi and Punk. How could she? They needed Sandra and she had just turned and ran away. But returning after what had happened would end horribly. Anyways Angel needed Sandra too.

"I... can you come with me...? I... I need to return to my adopted daughter and I'd hate to leave you like this in the middle of a tropical storm. Anyways I know where.... where some shelter is." The fae stuttered, her fur prickling.

The terrier sighed and began padding back to the cave and as she entered empty handed she looked down at the ground. Sandra eyed the pup and spoke up. "Angel... I can't hunt. I tried but... but its impossible. I'm afraid that unless you know how to hunt... we won't have any food for a while." She sighed.

[Mario]

Angel whined but nodded, rolling back over onto her stomach and then standing on her paws. "I'll try, Mommy." she said, licking her guardian's nose. She strutted out.

[Maideth]

Zanis had zoned out also and jumped back with a quick yelp when Sandra barked. When Sandra asked her to follow Zanis quickly accepted afraid to be left alone. She followed the terrier to the cave. She looked at Angel with pain In her eyes from the gash on her head. Once Sandra and Angel were done talking. Angel left the cave before Zanis could say hello.

Sandra watched Angel go and turned to Zanis. "Stay here." She told the fae and padded out after Angel. "Angel, here is what you need to do. You have to walk on the pads of your paws and hold your tail up when you are stalking otherwise you'll make noise. Once you are about a yard away you need to pounce and sink your teeth into the prey's neck. The goal is to keep silent while your stalking it and make sure it can't see you." The fae explained. It felt as if she were pushing Angel too hard but if she couldn't then they would starve. Sandra instructed the pup by standing on the pads of her paws and beginning to stalk forward. "Like this." She barked.

[Maideth]

Zanis sits down a little blood trickling onto her muzzle. She sighed realizing the tree branch had reopened the wound. She stands up and moves to the back of the cave before laying down. Zanis Laid her head onto her paws, watching the cave entrance. She was always terrified of being alone.

[Mario]

Angel nodded and carefully copied the moves set by her mother. "Got it," she breathed. (GTG)

"Okay, now sniff the air. What creatures do you smell? From what I can tell so far there are flying foxes, dwarf mongooses, spider monkeys, fruit bats, lemurs and monkeys on this island, all of which would serve good as prey. There are also many different types of birds, frogs and snakes on this island as well. Just beware of chimpanzees and big cats since there seem to be lots here." Sandra explained to the pup.
