Nick started picking the horses feet and then went to get the saddle and bridle.

Animine stroked him. "Do you have a twin, little guy? AH, well, probably not." She said. she finished brushing him.

Nick came back with a saddle and bridle and the saddle pads. He had the bridle over his shoulder. "Go stand over there. He get's girthy."

"Okay." Animine said.

Nick swung the saddle over the horse's back, and started tightening the girth. The horse turned his head around to try to bite, but Nick pushed it away. Soon the saddle was on, along with the bridle, and he lead the horse out to the ring.
"I'm gonna ride first, just to get the bucks out of him." Nick said.

Animine nodded. "Sure."

Nick hoisted himself into the saddle and the horse started trying to walk off. Nick made the horse back up instead, before turning him off to the side. Once they started cantering, the horse did buck a little, before settling down and behaving.

Animine smiled while she watched Nick. She liked it here.

Nick trotted the horse over to the fence near Animine.
"Just so you know, he's very side sensitive. If you kept on foot on him, and kick with the other, like this.." He demonstrated it, and the horse started spinning. "He'll spin. If you pull your legs away from the saddle-" He did as he said, and the horse stopped."He'll stop on a dime. If you make a humming noise, he'll stop, but not as fast. If you kick with one leg, he'll pick up a canter."

"Okay." Animine said. She liked the cleverness of the horse.
