Feather looked around her cage. Why am I here? she wondered. She looked up as a human walked over to her cage. "Looks like you have found a home!" the person said, and opened the door to Feather's cage. Feather looked up at the person and flew onto her arm. The person smiled and walked towards a young girl, who was looking at Feather with an excited look on her face. She smiled happily as Feather flew onto her arm. "Her name is Feather," the person said. The young girl nodded, still looking at Feather. "You are going to love your new home," the girl said softly. Feather looked at the girl. She smiled happily as she walked out of the store with her new friend.
