Jasper sighed. "Well, it's not your fault, that's for sure. The kids won't even talk to me." He said.

Cara sighed softly. "Baby, they love you."

Jasper nodded. "I know they do. But I don't think they trust me anymore."

She leaned over and kissed his forehead. "It's not your fault for being kind."

Jasper nodded. "I know that, too. But since I spent my life if a castle, I'm to trusting. To kind. And the kids don't know that. So they might not trust me anymore." He said.

Cara exhaled softly and looked at him. "Then tell them. Tell them what happened, and how you grew up. Tell them how we met. Tell them how we ended up here."
