Damion smiled as he crawled up onto a large rock, holding his hand out to help Sarah up so they could continue around the jungle.

Sarah took his hand and climbed up the rock with his help. When she got to the top, she smiled at him.

Slate saw the shocked expression on Ever's face, causing him to blush slightly. He wondered what she thought of his sudden gesture, and whether or not she thought he was odd, just as many others from outside his home region did. HE was still trying to read her, and yet he still couldn't get anything concrete from him. She still stood in the doorway, giving nothing away except for that slight moment of surprise when he had stood up.
Unusual name, he thought as she introduced herself. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you, Ever," he said, dipping his head slightly. "You can come in if you'd like." She didn't seem like a lot of the other girls that were here to him. They all seemed like they would fall all over themselves at any guy who made doe eyes at them, but Ever was very guarded, a trait which he was not used to. It reminded him of the first time he'd ever been to a city larger than New Orleans, which was a rather large city itself. The people there had been much more closed off than the friendly southerners he was used to dealing with. For some reason, Ever seemed to be very much the same.

Wordlessly, Ever stood from the wall and entered the dorm with an air of caution and curiosity, though she had wished to be invited in in the first place. The room wasn't especially personal yet, but they hadn't been here for very long. She still had things to unpack, but that would have to wait anyway. She kept her arms crossed as she took a seat demurely on his bed.

"So why are you here," she asked, attempting to lighten the invasive question by making her voice nonchalant.

Damion held her hand as they hopped off the rock and navigated there way through the jungle, "Isn't it great out here?"

Sarah nodded. "I like watching the birds and other animals." She said.

Damion nodded, "It's just truly magnificent." The Russian boy said with a smile as they walked into a clearing.

"Yeah." Sarah said. She smiled. "Could we stop here?" Sarah asked. "We've been walking all morning."

He nodded his head, "Sure." He said sitting down on the jungle floor. The sound of birds and maybe a monkey filled his ears.

Sarah sat down beside him, leaning her head on his shoulder and looking up at the trees.

He smiled at her as he looked into the tree's, "Hey look right there." He said, his voice hushed "There is a little monkey."
