Secretgrudge turned away quietly when Moonshad stalked past him after setting Sagepaws body in the Medicine Cat Den. He felt like fox-dung for the things he said about not wanting kits. It had nothing to do with her, it was him. He didn't think he had a right to kits. He regretted the things he's done far to long to try and live normally now and he knew Spiderfrost still held the warrior in contempt not only for abusing her...but for getting her twin sister pregnant when she was still an apprentice. Right now the only thing he could do was keep Moonshade from experiencing any trouble related to him. She had a life to build as the deputy, that should priority and he would back her up no matter what. That was all he could do.


Spiderfrost silently rolled her eyes silently at the antics of the two warriors. Nonetheless she continued on as Moonshade whispered her thanks.
"I dont really have a choice in the matter to refuse to heal her Moonshade, so save your thanks when the kit are proven to be alive." she muttered and waved the cats off. She turned to Starpaw, already scampering out with needed herbs.
"Oh you know, the usual. A giant creture attacked Sagepaw and being the lucky fur-ball she is survived by the skin of her fangs." the young she-cat drawled out.
"Be careful around her head and that broken let." she told Starpaw.

Sagepaw watched Moonshade get up in confusion, and walk out of the warriors den. No, no! I'm right here! Ugh!{/i] Sagepaw walked out beside Moonshade and stopped next to her, "No! I'm not awake yet! I'm right here, see?" She pleaded, but she knew Moonshade wouldn't be able to see her. Sagepaw sighed, and looked around. Maybe she could pick something up? No, she tried it earlier, it didn't work. Awell.

Starpaw listened carefully, "Yikes, I'm surprised she didn't die," She responded, and looked over the she-cat's body. "What about her kits? DId they survive?" She asked urgently, then put her paws on Sagepaw's stomach, movement was varied. She didn't feel any signs of kits, and her ears went back in surprise.[/color]

Spiderfrost shook her head.
"There is no way of telling until they are born. But my guess is if she isnt sent into premature kitting with all the kits still-born...she has a very, very slim chance of at least one serviving...But i wouldn't put any faith in that." she explained to her apprentice.

Starpaw looked at her mentor with sadness, "That's terrible," She said, and shook her head. Starpaw wouldn't ever be able to have kits, but she knew the pain of loss, and breaking the news to Sagepaw when she woke up would be heartbreaking. "Okay, I'll go and retrieve the herbs we need," She explained, and ran intothe back cleft of the medicine cat den, and grabbed herbs.

"It's life Starpaw get use to it." Spiderfrost sighed as she waited for her apprentice to return.
"Do not grab poppy seeds!" she reminded Starpaw.

Moonshade's dark eyes grew wide with shock. Sagepaw! "I hear you... But I don't see you.." she was starting to understand what was going on, but... it was a lot. She felt like she was going to faint. Maybe she was going crazy. She sat down slowly, trying to just breath in and out to calm down. "Are you alright?" she asked her invisible apprentice slowly, not being able to think of much else to ask someone that seemed to be speaking to you in your mind.

Sagepaw shook her head. She wasn't trying to confused her mentor, but she was just scared and lonely. "Well...I don't know about my real body, but myself in this state is okay," She answered. She didn't really like the state she was in now, but at leastshe could somewhat talk to Moonshade. To her, she was having a conversation, but to Moonshade, she was talking to her inner voice. Moonshade couldn't see her, but Sagepaw could see Moonshade. Kinda like a blind cat. Somewhat.

Starpaw nodded from what Spiderfrost had said. "Okay." She noted, and found Alder, Chamomile, Comfry, and Lavender. With those herbs in her mouth, she turned around and headed to Spiderfrost. Once there, she dropped the leaves, flowers, and stems in front of Spiderfrost and quickly sorted them into small piles. "Am I missing anything?" She asked as she finished sorting the small piles. "I have Alder, Chamomile, Comfry, and Lavender," She recited. "Maybe I don't need Alder.." Then she looked at Spiderfrost, "Do you chew up Comfry?" She asked as she separated a small pile of flowers from the large pile of stems and flowers called Lavender. The smaller pile of Lavender flowers were for Sagepaw when she woke up to ease her nerves, and since she hit her head, it would be could to ease it.

"Thats good, just be careful when setting the comphry over her leg. We dont nned alder until she's in a better condition." Spiderfrost replied.

The she-cat watched half-heartedly as her clear blue eyes scanned the camp for a certain tom she hadn't seen in a while. She scowled inwardly at herself for her behavior, but did not stop nonetheless.
