Marianas Trench is an band from Vancouver, Canada that was formed by lead singer Josh Ramsay, guitarist Matt Webb, drummer Ian Casselman, and bassist Mike Ayley. They released their first official album Fix Me on October 3, 2006. Say Anything quickly reached the top ten on the Canadian music charts. Fix Me has a very rock-like sound and portrays the struggles of drugs and other addictions. On February 24, 2009, their second and more pop-sounding album Masterpiece Theate r was released, including hit single Cross My Heart. Their latest Album, Ever After, was released November 21, 2011. Singles from that album include Haven't Had Enough and Desperate Measures. The sound of this album still holds the style of the band, but the setup is quite different from previous songs. The album includes a full orchestra for every song and if you play these songs in order, it tells a story. The story of Ever After revolves around the evil Queen Carolina of Toyland and her daughter, Porcelain, who undergoes betrayal and heartbreak as she tries to save Toyland. Every song has meaning and passion behind it. Unlike songs simply sung, they tell a story.

Favorite Song :: That is soooo hard to choose meh well, Say Anthing was my favorite song for the longest time ♥ BUT I LOVE THEM ALL
Favorite Video :: Desperate Measures. Definitely.
How you became a Trencher :: Well, I was at a movie theater early, you see, and they were playing music. This was back in 2009. They played Cross My Heart and I loved it. After that I couldnt remember the band name, and there are like a million songs called Cross My Heart. I tried for two years to find that song again, when one day, right here on CS, I saw lyrics in someone's signature. I thought to myself, No way its that one song... but I looked it up, and it WAS. I was obsessed with it. Then, sometime around the beginning of 2011, I got very sick. I was bedridden and bored, so I decided to look up the rest of their songs. It was love at first note ♥

I have met them and have an autographed poster framed in my room ♥

How you became a Trencher :: A long time ago, way back in 2010, my dance studio did a dance to Beside You and I not only loved the dance, but I feel in love with the song. I had no idea who the artist was though, but my best friend did and she also knew a couple other of their songs, (All to Myself, Celebrity Status). So naturally, I became obsessed<3

I have sadly only been to two concerts because they don't come to New York as much and my mumzie won't take me to Canada ;A; But I have met Mike, and Ian winked at me, and they all said hi to me and my friends<3

Gah! Omg luckyyyyyy!!! Ive only been to one concert and they were just opening for Simple Plan! My friend got in trouble because she was wearing a studded belt, so we got in there like half way through Cross My Heart and after that it was over! But Im glad it was that song, considering it was the first one of theirs I heard ♥ AND I STILL MET THEM SO ITS ALL GOOD

THATS RIGHT DISNEY I have converted so many Trenchers its... Its ridiculous...

Dude when my mom was taking pictures of me and my friends with Ian, she backed into a garbage can and he goes, "Watch your butt mom!" xDD

Ok so I spent yesterday watching behind the scenes EVERYTHING aaaaaand the more I watched the harder it became to decide who I liked most o.o Mike is freaking adorable...
