My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world."

((Derp! My post for chararacters and whatnot :U))

A large group was sitting outside of Republic city. The city had been recently named as the city of peace due to benders and non benders being treated as equals. The large group was mainly winged wolves cheer and shouting they were all mostly teens the entire group looked excited. An elder wolf stood out in front of the group" Welcome welcome graduates.. you all have been great in your studies some better then others.. I am somewhat shocked an surprised to say that our graduates are none other then the guardians of Avatar Aang's children Kya and Bumi." He took a deep breath looking into the crowd

"Will Zephyr and Coraline please come up to the stand." Out of the group a silver blue like wolf came out of hiding and a black and white wolf the crowd seemed to cheer" These two were our highest graduates and believe it or not they are even the children of our once exiled wolf Takoda.. who even though I hate to say we were wrong about him he had proven himself to be a great hero and helped Avatar Aang defeat fire lord Ozai though out of the happiness a touch of grief had struck us and we lost our leader Corona.." A few of them seemed saddened by the news but kept listening" But through her ashes we gain two new possible future leaders Zephyr and Coraline" As he stated that the crowd seemed to cheer even louder. The elder chuckled" Now all you graduates celebrate for you are all or at least most of you are now future guardians of this generation!" The group seemed even more excited and shouted with joy but in the crowd stood one loner. While some flew off and others sang in they're victory he stayed in the back, Coraline and Zephyr flew down towards him" Hey come on Conan cheer up its a party" Conan snorted at that" I Didn't graduate I don't have a reason to celebrate.." Coraline and Zephyr looked at one another" OH come on Conan..it doesn't mean you can't have fun."


Conan still didn't seem to interested in joining in they're party" You guys I can't fly and I can't sing.. I'm about as useless as a badger frog" He said before sulking off" You guys go enjoy yourselves go hang with Kya and Bumi.. I am sure they want to hang with you anyway." He muttered before walking off.

Was sitting in a tree near the crowd. He jumped down and walked after Conan. "Hey Conan." He said.

Conan looked over at him" Oh hello Avatar Aang.. how are you and your wife doing.." He asked as he continued to walk" I see your children are doing well thats good" He mumbled.

Looked down at him. "It's just Aang. We're doing good." He said softly. "Kya and Bumi doing great with their.... Stuff." He said. "Come to Air Temple Island with me." He walked over to Appa and jumped on, waiting for Conan.

[Claire Cooper]

Conan frowned a little but fallowed after him and jumped up on Appa" So why are we going to air temple Island Aang.." He asked as he sat down on Appa looking over at Aang" If your taking me to meet up with Tenzin you know as well as I do he's with Lin all he does is spend time with Lin" He mumbled flopping his head down on Appa's saddle" Seems like time is stood still for me.. Kya is becoming almost as good as Katara and you in water bending.. Bumi acts more and more like Sokka which is kind of terrifying.. because he'll probably be some famous warrior and my brother and sister are probably going to be right by they're side through everything" He stated feeling somewhat angry" And where am I gonna be.. staying on the ground as a non singer and flyer while my so called best friend falls for the girl of his dreams" He said huffing slightly aggravated" Its like I'm not even there any more he has enough time for his air bending training and time for Lin but has no time for his best friend" He said rather angrily.

Rolled his eyes. "If you heard him during practice you wouldn't be thinking that. He's constantly worrying about you Conan." He said as Appa took off and he sat next to him in the saddle. "Tenzin worries about you like you're his child. I don't even worry about him that much." He said with a laugh. "Don't worry. One day he'll show you how much he cares... In his own way." He jumped onto Appas horn and stood there for a second before diving off.

Conan frowned a little" forgive me Aang but I somewhat find that hard to believe when he spends all his time with Lin" He said jumping off of Appa. He spread his wings and looked at them" These useless things don't make my day any easier.. if I could fly maybe.. maybe I'd be able to make something of myself heck even if I could sing I'd feel a least a little better." He mumbled as he looked around air temple island" I mean look what you and the rest of the gang did in a mere couple years.. you managed to make a city where every one can live in peace and even your own little island for you and your family" He said looking around" You also managed to repopulate the sky bison and the fly lemurs.. how I have no idea but you accomplished a lot and your only in your late thirties." He said somewhat shocked" My father himself could fly when he was just a few years younger then me a pup no less and he could sing better then anyone of our clan members.. yet I can't do any of that.. I just feel as useless as a badger frog." He said his ears lowering slightly.

Looked at him. "Actually... I'm fifty-six." He said, smiling. "You'll be able to fly. Don't worry. It might just take a little longer for you than your siblings. Kya found out she was a bender at the age of three while Tenzin was eight when he found out. It takes time Conan." He said softly. "I brought you here so you didn't feel as stressed." He laughed. "Just wait for Tenzin. I'll give him trainging off today so he can bond wiith you." He used his Earthbending to shoot him onto the roof of the Temple and airbendingto slow him. He had a few ruff spots on the roof that needed to be fixed and now was the best time.
