Jay narrowed his eyes in amusement. "What the heck is wrong with you?" He laughed.

"I stepped on a piece of ice." She growled.

Eclipse trotted out of the den as she heard Nakalla scream. Amusement filled her eyes as Nakalla had stepped on some ice. Turning back to Jay, Eclipse tilted her head, saying, "What was that, Jay?"

"Err, nothing... Well, can we talk about this when there's not a wolf screaming bloody murder?" He said with mock seriousness.

Eclipse glanced at Jay as she wondered what brought such a serious tone to his voice all of a sudden. "Yeah, uh, okay, we can talk while we hunt?" She suggested as she looked towards the snowy sky and hoped there was food available. The bear carcass was running dry and they needed a supply of food to keep them alive.

"Okay." Jay said. "The snow seems to have cleared up anyways."

Without a glance back at Jay, Eclipse bounded towards the forest in hopes of finding some prey. She leaped over a fallen log and sent a spray of snow into the air. She came to a halt as she sniffed the air, trying to catch a sent of elk or any form of eatable animal. She turned to look back at Jay and gave a short smile, "So, Jay.. you wanted to tell me something?"

Kalia looked to her sister. "Are you alright?" She asked, trying to be kind. Perhaps I can rebuild my horrible personality. Give my siblings a different opinion of me. And we still have to tell Jay that I'm his sister... how fun that will be. He probably has already labeled me as a jerk, as I am. She thought.

"Uhm." Jay looked down. He sighed and then said, "You'll never talk to me again if I tell you, but...." He took a deep breath.

Eclipse perked her ears as Jay spoke. Wait, what did he just say..? She tilted her head slightly before answering, "Wait, what? Did you just say 'I think I love you'"? She sat down, a small smile cornering the edges of her mouth. "Jay, we've only known each other for what? A little over a day now? I don't really even know you that well." Eclipse narrowed her eyes before continuing, "Wait, is this a joke? Are you joking?"
