Kaiya is a true introvert. She has troubles making friends and is very reserved, when talking to others she will become tired it’s almost like they’re draining her energy, the only way to get it back is t retreat into a corner and read a book it’s her form of ‘charging’ her battery. Being this way Kaiya is usually considered: cold, quiet and rude this is due to the fact that she has a hard time connecting to others.

An easy person to skip over in a crowd Kaiya is never expected to do or know anything in classes and at home, she tries to keep her wants and needs inside, she just doesn’t want to be a burden on others. This makes her very determined and resourceful, she’s usually at the back of the class pouring over the text book and completely ignoring the teacher while their talking. In a tight spot, not that she is ever in one, Kaiya can think of solutions in a matter of moments.

Reputation. Who needs one? Kaiya hates it when people try to assimilate her so she does everything she can to avoid fitting the fold. She tries not to judge based on a first impression but every once in a while she will. Once she makes up her mind about you it’s extremely difficult to change her mind and make her see you in a different light.

Kaiya loves dance, her favourite kinds are hip hop, oriental (belly dance) and contemporary. She also loves, summer rain, black, cats, books, swimming, red, cool days, sunsets, a good beat and being alone.
Kaiya hates those who tell her what to be, it just annoys her to no end. She also hates hot days, pink, flowers, high heels and being crowded.

Kaiya never really had a father, when she was little he ran off with a woman that he’d met at the local casino. She was seven then so she hadn’t really known her father all that well, when he left her mother became more interested in her work life than in her home. Growing up like that Kaiya learned to become self sufficient, depending on no one but herself. She lived on the reservation for fifteen years, it was her home and the place where she belonged, then her mother got a promotion. But with that promotion came a moving order, if they didn’t move closer to the main office her mom didn’t get the promotion. So they moved away from her home, she left everything she’d ever known for her mother. It’s been two years since then and Kaiya has sorta gotten used to everything but she still hates all the noise and crowds. She’s been dancing her whole life as a way to express herself and what she is.

When she got accepted into the school Kaiya was one of the happiest people alive, her mother let her go and for the first time told her that she was ‘proud of what she could do.’

Kaiya has jet black hair that flows in loose waves to the middle of her back, usually keeping it in a ponytail or braid so that it doesn’t get in her way. Her eyes are also black, you can barely tell the difference between pupil and iris, her skin is a burnished bronze that never burns no matter how long she’s in the sun. She’s around 5’6” and weighs approximately 123 lbs.

Kaiya isn’t your normal pink and sparkle loving girl, in fact she hates most of those things. Her idea of fashion is a nice tank top and a pair of ripped jeans, topping it off with a nice pair of sneakers Kaiya appears as a more edgy kind of girl. She will dress up sometimes but that’s only for competitions and on occasion dinners and such.
