Mysticpaw was out in the territory again, walking the same path she did every other day towards the edge of Mistclan territory. The silence of the forest was comforting as she hummed along the way, her clear blue eyes never strayed from her path. There wasn't another soul in sight & for some reason that made her journey much more easy, as if she didn't want other's to follow her.

Lunareclipse silently stepped in range of a small mouse as it nibbled on a fallen nut.
Her bright yellow eyes never left her target as she steadily got into a pouncing position.

Moonshade looked at Wolfheart, cocking her head as they made their way through the forest. She blinked and ran after him right when he disappeared from sight. She didn't really have long legs but she was fast enough to catch up with him. A small smile played on her lips as she bounded forward. This felt exhilarating. It felt refreshing. But it also felt unfamiliar. She'd not done a thing like this in countless moons and almost forgot what it had been like to have fun. Suddenly, all her old energy she had felt when she was an apprentice came flooding back through her body and she could feel her paws practically flying across the forest floor. She quickly caught up to him and passed, yowling, "Bet I can!" The dark she-cat smirked as she taunted Wolfheart. She pushed herself to run faster and soon moved ahead of him. As she focused her gaze back ahead she caught a glimpse of a large object lying on the ground, blocking their path. She growled in anticipation and soon slowed a little to tease him, letting him think he might win. Then she leaped over the tree trunk, landing gracefully on the other side. She stood panting with a contempt smile on her face as she waited.

Lightheart looked up sharply when she felt something touch her but soon relaxed when she recognized that face. She let out a ragged sigh and noticed her icy pelt was all on end. She nodded quickly and lapped at her soft fur to keep it down. "Uh no. Just a little confused." She finished and sat up straight, stretching stiffly. Her entire body felt like an icicle. Hardened and freezing cold. She glanced up at her comrade suddenly glad he was the one with her. Don't get ahead of your feelings, Lightheart. Control yourself, her mother's sharp voice echoed in her mind the moment she laid eyes on Hawkfeather. She growled back in her head. I didn't do anything yet. He's a good friend - why are you so afraid? Petalthorn just growled back, a lot fiercer than her, You shouldn't feel this way about a tom like that.
Like that?! He's perfectly normal! He's no disloyal fleabag that wants nothing more than to hurt me, mother, she retorted. You don't know that, her mother's gentle words scared Lightheart. She swallowed hard. Anything can happen in the future, love. Just remember to be careful. Please. Then she was gone.
No one trusts me! Not even her mother seemed to. The young medicine cat would think their first meeting since her disappearance as a kit would be happy but no. It had to be this.

A black tom wandered around the shoreline of a lake. It was huge. The biggest expanse of water he'd ever seen. And in the middle of the night like this, it looked eerie and dark and a little frightening. The tom was practically invisible at night; thanks to his black coat. The only things visible were his eyes that glinted as they caught the moonlight. His paws felt heavy and scratched and every muscle felt sore.
He padded slowly, but paused, seeing a faint smudge in the darkness a while away across the lake. He flicked on ear, cocking his head to one side. More forests? Maybe some cats live there; seems a good place to be.He decided to make his way over, slowly, hoping he wouldn't collapse from exhaustion before he got there.

By the edge of the river that separated both Mistclan and Flameclan Mysticpaw sat comfortably by some pebbles as she looked up at the the sky that was freed from its cover of the trees. Laying her tail over her small paws she kept her back straight and sat, waiting. But waiting for what she never could figure out. Much later into her time alone she scented an unfamiliar tom making his way towards her from where the body of water grew. Craning her head in the darkness she saw nothing until a set of eyes began to contrast with the overwhelming darkness the trees provided in the midst of night.

With her pale pelt clearly noticeable even during the night she waited silently for the stranger to take notice of her before speaking.
