Fae I Coal Black I Looking for Jay I

Eclipse looked down and saw Jay who had been hiding among the snow. With an irritated flick of an ear, she bounded down to him. "What were you thinking? You shouldn't have run away in this blizzard." She said, her voice stern but not unfriendly.

Jay looked away, not responding, though he was definitely listening. After a few moments he got up and trotted back to the den.

Eclipse folded her ears back in annoyance. "Ugh, males." She muttered quietly under her breath as she followed him back to their temporary camp. Her eyes followed him as he trotted back to the den. With a sigh, Eclipse walked over to Nakalla and Kalia and sat down in the snow. "Anything happened while I left?" Eclipse asked as she noticed the two faes seemed to be acting a bit different.

Nakalla looked at Eclipse. "Oh, nothing much." She said blankly. "I know he's kinda cold-shouldered right now, but could you go comfort Jay? The poor guy needs some support."

Eclipse stood up and shook snow off her coat. She lowered her head and sighed, saying, "Ugh, fine." She then bounded towards the den where Jay was. He better not have run off again. She thought as she went inside, saying, "Hey, uh, I was wondering if you'd like some company." Her voice was friendly as she looked down at the snow which she shuffled with her paws.

"Sure." He said blandly, moving his tail so she could sit next to him. "I just want them to trust me." He murmured.

Eclipse walked over to Jay and sat down. She neatly folded her tail over her paws as she listened to him. "Well, I trust you. You just need to give the others some time." Eclipse advised as she watched the stream of snow fall from the sky.

Kalia stared blankly at the snow, shocked on the inside.
To lead.
To lead.

... All I've ever dreamed of, but I can't lead. I can't. She thought desperately, wishing she had the courage to say those words to her long-lost sister. And as she thought of it, all the jealousy she felt for Nakalla had transformed into fear. She didn't know how her mind worked, if jealousy would take over her mind as it had done to Kalia before, with both of them leading. Eyes wide, she shyly looked at her sister, intimidated. Would they say "Hello, I miss you" or simply skip the greetings and get on to helping the pack get somewhere warm? And what about Sammael? Where was he? And her shoulder wound wasn't letting up with all this running. Could she keep the pack, along with her weak, wounded self, alive? And what about Jay? He was obviously also her brother. She didn't feel welcome at all in this new family, she felt like a suprise, unwanted stranger in the den. Like a bother.
Like a problem.

(I think my writing muse loves me again xD)

"I know..." He looked at Eclipse. I wanna say I love her, but how can I? I've only known her for what? A day? He looked away shyly.

"I missed you Kalia." Nakalla said quietly. "We need to get this pack to safety. Are you with me?"

There was an awkward silence and Eclipse just looked over at Jay and said, "So...do you want to go hunting? It looks like Kalia and Nakalla are discussing something.." Maybe this will break the awkward silence..
