I don't get what's the trouble with people accepting gifts without a message. I just don't. And I don't get how if they accept without a message, that makes them rude. .-.

Well um...yes you have your opinion. There is nothing wrong with that. It's just that, we like to hear a THANK YOU for giving someone a gift you know? It's like in real life.

Poor Mother: *Hands her son the last 20 dollars so he can spend it on food for himself* "I hope this will fill you up just fine sweety."
Son: *Takes Money. Walks away. No thank you.*

Back On Topic: Traders who cancel without a message. I know lots of people do it, I have no problem with it, it's just that if I leave a message, please send one back. ^_^

The past trades I have sent for patchworks havent worked. I was overpaying to begin with, and all they wanted were locked pets or september pets. As well for the septembers they werent even willing to add.

On the subject of gift rants, I , too, had grown fed up with people being rude or unappreciative.
So, I made a group for pets leftover after the year ends and then gift them to the first active, trustworthy newbie user I see. It makes as a nice welcome gift and the two newbies I've gifted so far were very appreciative since they had just started. (Of course, they might have been a minority, but still...)
This is just a minor suggestion to those of you whom wish to gift, but hate unappreciative users. :-3

More on subject, I absolutely can not stand it when people send a trade with a pet that they know you can't afford. ("Pet flashing", I think it's called?) Very uncalled for and rude.

I have never been Pet Flashed...but what happened if someone accepted really quick? Would they get mad and message Tess? I mean, its kinda their fault for flashing that pet anyway...

I believe they send it as suggestions and ask you to offer on it, even if you don't want/can't afford the pet in the first place.
On the topic of gifting, I can second gifting newbies, it's fun and they appreciate it very much ^^

I usually only offer on ones for trade so I dont get turned down for that reason.
as well, if a pet is open with no reference that it isnt for ttrade, I will offer. Their fault for leaving it open. you dont want to trade it, then they should lock it or put nft or something in their rules atleast.
and if they dont want to trade it, why would they edit? editing implys they are willing to trade it.
I'm fine if they dont want what I have to offer. but asking for say a patchy september for one. hahaha no thank you hun.

Well, what if the patch work was in a group called...let's say... Auction & Bid? I don't think if it was already in an Auction Or Bid, or in a group named that, would get offers.

No gifting/free pets. Its begging and against the rules.

Umm, since when is gifting you something begging and a bad thing? I know what they probably meant but they could have worded it better.......
