What do you think about tea? i, personally, do not like to drink tea. however, i still love tea, even though i don't like the taste. i love the way it looks, there is something about the look of a cup of tea with a tea bag hanging from the side that gets be every time. i wish i liked tea, so i just have to pretend that i do. for some reason i have a certain respect for people who drink tea. and quite frankly, i just like the word tea xD which is why i named tea like i did.

Why do you like to have a hyena as a character/fursona? hyenas are very stereotypical characters. lots of assumptions are made about them, usually having to do with eating dead carcasses, laughing hysterically, and being all-around nasty. these stereotypes have been helped along by people like disney, for instance, who portray the hyenas in the lion king as the idiotic villains. but hyenas are really not like this. and as close-minded and annoying as stereotypes are, there is something that i really love about them. they are fun to tease and poke fun at, but they are even more fun to turn on their head and create something completely opposite of what it "should" be. since hyenas have so many stereotypes attached, it seemed a perfect opportunity to create a hyena (*cough*tea*cough*) who is proper, speaks with a posh english accent, and would never dream of getting her paws dirty. also, when i created her, it was very fun to stylize the proportions and the pose to the extreme.

Fursona. She's been my fursona since September of 2010.
Things about the design you'd like to clarify?
Those burn marks on her stomach are not markings, it's just my poor attempt at shading.

Cheetah print (yellowish-gold-brown base, blackish brown spots)
What do you think about tea?
I've never actually tried it, though I'm curious. I'm thinking of going over to my friend's house to try some, she often makes tea. Plus, I've heard it's better than coffee. Iced tea, green tea...sounds delicious.
Why do you enjoy having a hyena as a character/fursona?
I feel a special connection to Spotted Hyenas, in a way. Whenever I imagine myself as an animal, I imagine myself as a hyena. Plus, I admire them for their intelligence and amazing strength and stamina. Apparently, in some areas of intelligence, hyenas are as smart as primates! I also plan on studying hyenas as a career.

Things about the design you'd like to clarify? She does have a moon on her shoulder that is surrounded by stars. There is one star(The biggest) that is at the end of a rope wich is on the tip of the top of the moon(Hope that makes sense).
Colour and design of tea cup: Dark blue(But not too dark) and light blue(The light blue of her eye markings). The light blue will be stars on the cup.
What do you think about tea? I love tea! Especially if it is Chinese tea.
Why do you enjoy having a hyena as a character/fursona? They are just so cute! I have loved hyenas ever since I watch Lion King. Tsuki is actually my very first hyena, or aardwolf, character. They are unique creatures.

Her ears are the same color as her legs. She has a notch on her lower left ear and a hoop earring on the upper right ear.

Could it be blue with yellow band around the top and bottom? And in the middle have a "101" on it? Similar design as this. (Dirt is optional but would be cool.)

I drink tea every day at night after dinner. I have a mini mountain of tea boxes on the counter. So yes, I like tea lol.

Why do you enjoy having a hyena as a character/fursona?
It's very fitting considering she lives in a post apocalyptic setting where there's wastelands everywhere and she must scavenge and hunt to just survive. She's not on top of the food chain but can take care of herself. I've liked hyenas for a long time due to The Lion King. Not really sure what else to say, I like how they look!

I have a few questions...

So, I have a Hyena character. I really do love her, but I haven't had time to update her. I created her quite a long time ago, almost a year ago. I have been meaning to change her tail, since it isn't even hyena-ish, and change a few of her accessories. But her markings would generally be the same. I think the only thing I would change about her markings is add a few lighter colored patches.

Things about the design you'd like to clarify? Nothing much, but the gem on her earring is Lapis Lazuli (I consider this an important detail, though really you just need the colour) ;)

Colour and design of tea cup: Gold with purple music notes maybe? You can possibly come up with something more creative, but for now I'll just float that idea.

What do you think about tea? Good stuff. Very classy. I usually drink five or more cups a day. At the moment I'm drinking tamarillo flavoured tea out of a big cup with a zebra on it.

Why do you enjoy having a hyena as a character/fursona? Because she reminds me of my friend (who now lives over seas) who used to be obsessed with them. Also because they are fascinating animals (well, I find all their unique characteristics interesting to read about). Plus this little girl is full of personality, which is why I adopted her in the first place. Hyenas also have very nice natural markings so you don't need to make them sparkly.

You can make a new ref and enter it, but link to the old version of the design for the "proof-link". You'll have to hurry though so you get it in before I close this. I don't add accessories to the lineart, so for reference purposes that doesn't really matter.

Is this a character or a fursona?: She's a beloved character of mine.
Things about the design you'd like to clarify? Her earrings do not have to be included.Also her design is the same on both sides. Her hair continues down into her mane till just past her ears. I don't mind how it looks or if you want to ignore the blue part all together.

What do you think about tea?: Especially when I'm relaxing or spending time drawing. I love all flavours and types of tea but English has to be my top tea along with Assam, strawberry and mango or peppermint. I find tea a very soothing drink and I tend to drink it in most situations but it always calms me when I'm upset. The best way to enjoy tea though is sat in front of a warm fire watching the rain, its so relaxing and makes me feel all content. Its just a great drink.
Why do you enjoy having a hyena as a character/fursona?: I love the species anyway and find them a very interesting animal in their behaviour, the way they interact with each other and other animals. They are often portrayed as the bad guy in films and TV but this is not so and after watching documentary on them filmed over a week I realised just how fascinating and clever they really are, which sparked an interest in them for me, before I had just admired them for their unusual and really quite pretty shape. Thets another point, they are brilliant with their unusual shape and those fantastic ears, oh I adore Hyena ears. I feel like they've helped push my art to a better place as I love trying to draw them and get their unique bodies right. Hyenas are just awesome all round really. Having Razor as an Aardwolf (though she can shapeshift wolf for the benefit of stories) again gives me a new spectrum to explore again, I love Aardwolves, they are incredibly cute little animals to me, though many may disagree. Razor is one of my oldest characters and I never tire of doodling her and trying to perfect that Aardwolf shape.
