Is this a character or a fursona? Character.
Things about the design you'd like to clarify? I messed up on the reference. For the leg with the dark marking on it, follow the larger image. I flipped it and forgot to change the leg.
Colour and design of tea cup: Maybe something african inspired, like these pots? If that's too complicated, something light blue would be lovely. ^^
What do you think about tea? Honestly, I don't drink a lot of it. I come from a family of coffee lovers so there's never tea in my house. I rarely get the opportunity to drink it, but it's pretty great and I really need to buy some more.
Why do you like to have a hyena as a character/fursona? I love hyenas. They're freaking awesome and they're some pretty cool looking animals. I've always found them really interesting, both appearance wise and how they behave. They're a lot smarter than people like to give them credit for, and I love learning about them. Honestly, I've never cared much for lions and tend to root for the hyena clans instead when I'm watching nature documentaries, lol.
As for Chewy, he was orignally created for an RP. I scribbled a quick ref to get his design down, and sort of fell in love with him. I did my best to research how hyenas live and find a place for him. I love my quirky little hyena boy, he's one of my favorite characters and I can't imagine him as any other species.

I don't currently have a CS character thread, but I've been hoping to order a bit of art of him and start using him a lot more. It's just a bit tough finding artists who draw hyenas.
While I'm aware that this post misses the cut off, I figured I'd link to this post to show that I'm trying to introduce him to CS. Of course it's perfectly fine by me if you do not consider him a "CS" hyena. ^^

Why do you like to have a hyena as a character/fursona?: Always had a passion for the Hyena family types, Ally started off as a Aardwolf but I changed her to a striped hyena, reason: I had been meaning to do it for a long long long time but never came around to it.. when I find a opportunity to get her more art on CS I knew I needed to update her XD … don’t want people getting her markings wrong or anything. I have not been active with her enough on CS and its time I give her some loves

I have had Ally for a long long time.. but I don’t think I can find a post that shows she has gotten art or anything. I can say though that she is on my character page and has not left it for almost 2 years now since ive been on CS. If it has never been posted anywhere on CS before it is hardly a CS hyena, is it? Part of the point of this event is to get a chance to see what other hyenas roam the CS forums, so I do like the characters entered in the event to be hyenas that has visited CS.

Colour and design of tea cup: Black with a blue symbol similar to his shoulder design.
What do you think about tea?: I don't really drink it, but I do enjoy having imaginary teacup parties with my little cousins. x3
Why do you like to have a hyena as a character/fursona?: I've always wanted a hyena character; I love them and see so many beautiful hyena characters. I could never think up a proper design until I got Silvius designed for me.
