I kind of disagree. Its fair, but someone must've overpaid more or something. I wouldn't want to keep 200 bids that weren't going to win - so If you got out bidded in an auction, well too bad. They said sorry.

My friend's dad once paid 1000 dollars for a dozen cupcakes at an auction. Overpay is what they're made for.
