Toby smiled a little and nodded. "Yay! Sounds great!" she said quite excitedly, taking hold of his hand again. She remembered where the pet store was, since she had gone there a few days ago and was actually looking at some cats- she didn't get one though. "Let's go." she said with a bright smile, beginning to walk with Merlin.

I fallowed her. I chuckled and watched her, how happy she was. "Slow down." I said and chuckled.

Catherine offered a smile. "Right, Bay, I should have remembered." she said, listening to what he had to say. "I understand. Losing your parents can be really tough. And moving? That's not so great either." she replied. "I hope I don't sound rude, but feeling bad for yourself doesn't help the situation. I'm speaking from experience. There are more people that have been through things just like you. I don't know all the details of your past, and I know that moving on isn't easy, but lingering on what has happened won't change the future." she said, hoping she wouldn't come off as inconsiderate. She knew how he must be feeling, and had already made it through the recovering stage, so she was often one to help others get through rough times as well. It was simply in her nature.

I nod. Yeah. Yeah you're right. I just I'm alright with my parents dying just. Why did Jimmy have to? I look at the ground then back up. Why didn't I die? I had lived longer, he hadn't even experienced the simplest things. I shake my head and shove my hands deep into my pockets. Why did he have to go so soon?I ask more to myself than Catherine. My life is a waste without him... I look down at a small pebble. Wishing I could move on

I fallowed her. I chuckled and watched her, how happy she was. "Slow down." I said and chuckled.

"Okay, listen, Bay. You should come by my place later. A few of my friends are coming over, and I think you would appreciate a little time with your mind off of this. Your life isn't a waste, do you understand? My mom died just after I was born. My dad was killed by cancer when I was twelve. I was born in England, and had to move here just to live with my Aunt. And do you know how I moved on? I found a passion. I found something that meant something to me, and I made something of myself. You need to find something that you can love, cherish, and be passionate about. Something that really makes you happy. Come by later. I promise it will be worth your while." Catherine told him. As terrible as she felt for what had happened to him, she didn't think that pity was what he wanted, or needed. As she spoke, she pulled a piece of paper out of her purse and grabbed a pen, writing down her address. "Please, just give it a shot." she said, meeting his gaze boldly. She was always the more outgoing, there to help, and supportive type of girl. This was a perfect example of that. Not many had the guts to walk up to a random stranger, offer some help, and give him the address to her house. She had a feeling that he wasn't a pervert though, and had decided that a little fun might make him feel better.

Toby smiled and slowed down so Merlin could catch up. After he was by her side, she walked to the pet store, opening the door and walking inside with Merlin. She hugged him quickly before going over to look at the cats that were available for adoption. "Which one do you like..?" she asked him, turning around.

Jasmine grinned, unable to help herself due to the fact that he was quite entertaining. "I bumped my shoulder a few days ago, that's all." she forced herself to lie, as hard as it was. "The wall didn't really seem to care though." she muttered, a sheepish grin still spread over her lips. "Listen, I'll have to talk to you later - if that's alright - because I'm going to be late to my next class. We wouldn't want that, would we?" She joked. Her voice had lost its humor, though. The thought of what Andrew might do if she was tardy to class yet again made her shudder. "You should get yourself cleaned up. I'm sure your friends are going to have a good laugh." she said, smiling once again as she stepped to the side.

"That ashy colored one is kinda cute. Or that calico." I said just pointing out random cats. they were all cute, I couldn`t descide. I smiled and rested an arm on her shoulders. I was mostly a dog person.
