The Huntsman scowled at her. "You're not a woods girl. No woman ever survives in the woods without a man to care for her. And your husband would surely not let you out into the forest at night, so I doubt you even have one." He picked up his axe and slung it over his shoulder, taking another gulp of his ale before crossing the river so that he stood about five feet from her. "Now who are you?" he demanded.

Emerald smiled back, but her eyes remained sad. "Pork sounds good to me. And then we should all get to sleep. We're going to have a big day tomorrow, planning and whatnot. I'm going to need to speak to Kyle too. And grab the maps from the office and..." she sighed, shaking her head. "Tomorrow, I can worry about all that tomorrow."

Frank smiled "Stop working yourself so hard Em" he said softly, placing his hand on her shoulder and smiling "Just rest that mind of yours, you can sort everything out tomorow" he said reassuringly, nudging Diad forward into a loping walk, the old stallion, eager to please, did so confidently and snatched at some grasses on the way.

Arowin froze and he moved even closer and narrowed her eyes slightly. "I have never had a husband and nor do I need one." she said and threw one of her shoes straight at the stranger and in that seconds following this she jumped onto her horse and shook her head own at the man. "I am Arowin and I doubt no further explanation nor title is needed.' she said looking down on the man as Ace who struck out with one of the front legs in impatience to move on. A cloud passed over the moon and the surroundings darkened so that Arowin could only just make out the man in front of her. "Who are you sir?" she asked.

The Huntsman chuckled as the woman said she needed so husband. "But you long for one. Every woman does." he replied, not even flinching at the shoe that hit him in the chest. When she said she was Arrowin, he raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, still holding his axe. "Oh really?" he asked sarcastically. "You're the infamous Arrowin Longstride? You look a little delicate to be the woman of fable." He then shrugs. "They call me the Huntsman."

Emerald looked over at Frank and smiled back, nodding. "You're right. Let's just go eat something and sleep." She looked over her shoulder at Jack and motioned for him to follow as she nudged Envy into a walk beside Diad. She noticed Arrowin wasn't with them, but she figured she probably had gone ahead to the hideout. When she reached the hideout she dismounted, stumbling a little and then let Envy walk himself off to graze, before walking herself into the hideout and plopping down in the first chair she saw.

"Well then Huntsmen you like many others are easily fooled by impressions." she said ignoring his comment about a husband due to the fact that it struck so true. "Your name however I have never heard. Now tell me what is your business in these woods at such a late hour?" she asked stroking her horse's mane. She was beginning to feel less threatened by the stranger. After a pause she smiled slightly and gave a small chuckle. "Do you mind handing me my shoe?" she asked him shaking her head.

The Huntsman looked down at the shoe and chuckled, picking it up and holding it out to here. "Here's your shoe back, princess." he teased. He then crossed his arms again and was silent for a moment. "I just needed to get out of the bar. Bottles were getting thrown, I had knocked a few people out. I needed to get drunk in peace." he said after taking a swig of his ale bottle. "And the King's men had come asking for me. Never got to find out what they wanted, but it couldn't of been good." he said with a chuckle and another gulp of ale.

Arowin laughed at his comments and took the shoe back. "Please turn away, she said still clutching her cloths to her chest. "I would like to make myself a little more decent." she said and waited patiently looking pointedly at him asking to turn away. She slipped off her horse so that Ace was between giving her a little more privacy.

The Huntsman nodded. "Right, of course." he said, turning around and looking down at his boots. He had almost forgotten she was wearing nothing but a sodden night gown. "Sorry about that." he muttered. He looked up at the river then and frowned. He started getting flashbacks of his times with Sarah and he shook his head, hoping to shake the thoughts away.

Arowin quickly pulled on her corset and long black riding skirt and her shoes. She then let Ace go to graze and set down her weapons. "I'm done." she said sitting down again with her feet in the water. "I have never seen you in these parts before Huntsmen, tell me, where do you come from and what brings you to these parts? Not many travelers come here unless summoned, crazy or rich beyond measure to draw his stupid's attention." she said watching the moonlight on the water. "And who is this women you speak of?" she said looking towards him.

The Huntsman watched as Arrowin sat down by the river. "That was fast." he said with a shrug as he sat down next to her. "I come here often." he said. "You've just never seen me." And it was true, he came out here often. Very often, to hunt for food--the King called it "poaching"-- and just to be alone--also against the "law". "Nobody is ever out here so I can just be alone. I can't stand the village anymore." He plucked a few blades of grass and started to peel them apart. When Arrowin asked about the woman he mentioned earlier, he looked off into the river, as if the water was very interesting. "Sarah, you mean?" He paused for a moment. "She was my wife, but she's dead now."
