•If You're Wondering What A Tag-a-long Deer Is•
A Tag-a-long Deer or TLD for short is a deer like creature. They roam in grassy plains or prairie-type habitats. They always have at least one white, tan, or brown color in their designs. The other color are never neon. They will always be muted pastel colors. It is a very natural light breed; they will usually not have dark colors such as orchid or black. Their growth will never reach growth of more than a regular deer. Though these are in adult form currently children never have horns; they grow in during the teen stages of their life. They are usually welcoming and kind to humans, but they retain their grace and elegance.

WHY I named him Snuffles} When I first encountered him, he made a lot of snuffling noises ^^ (he still does!)
Personality}Barley is a cool, collected TLD, who likes to keep to himself. He's shy around others, but once you get to know him, he's friendly and playful, and curious about the world beyond the plains. And he has a fondness for chocolate chip cookies!
Story(any length)}I stalked the grassy plains, my eyes peeled for hoofprints. I was on the hunt for Tag-a-long Deers! I had only heard stories about these magnificent creatures, and mutering up my courage, I decided to go and meet them for myself. I froze when I heard the crack of a twig, and gave a little scared yelp, hiding behind a boulder. Looking over the top of the rock, a few twigs in my hair, my eyes were wide as a...bunny stepped out of the bushes. I rolled my eyes, and started to get up, brushing off my binoculars, when I heard a snuffle. It wasn't loud, or special in any kind of way, just a snuffle. I turned quietly, and to my suprise, saw a creature that I realized with a start, was a Tag-a-long Deer! I watched, amused, as he snuffled and crouched low to the ground, his eyes on the bunny. It turned and hopped towards him, and he reared up in suprise, darting behind a bush. I couldn't suppress a laugh, and he turned to face me, suprised. I hushed instantly "C'mere, boy." I said quietly and soothingly, rummaging through my bag for something to give him as a treat. I pulled out a chocolate chip cookie triumphantly, and tossed it to him. He sniffed it, and nibbled on the edge. You could see his eyes widen in delight as he ate the rest in one big bite, and I laughed, delighted by him. Holding one out in my hand, he came forward and looked at me, rubbing his head up against my hand as I gave him the cookie. I smiled, and stood from my crouched position, he seemed to really have a liking for me and my chocolate chip cookies! I stroked his head softly, and he closed his eyes in pleasure. I walked, and he followed, to my surprise! "Guess I'm stuck with you." I said happily, smiling.

A few months later...

I stroked Snuffle's head as I paced the study, watching him work. As soon as he followed me home, I realized he had a strange and special talent for writing! Using pencils I made special for him (They have a special thick body so he doesn't accidentally snap them. It's happened before. To write, he puts the pencil in his mouth and writes at a slight angle. Problem is, if he makes mistakes, he has trouble erasing them!), he would watch me intently as I wrote simples words on a chalkbaord, and he would copy them. Weird thing, though, he writes all of his words upside down!!! *ǝןɟɟnus sı ǝɯɐu ʎɯ* he wrote painstakingly slowly, and I smiled at his work "Great job, Snuffy!" I beamed at him, and he cocked his head with amusement, looking proudly at his work "You're doing so much better!" I encouraged him. WIP there may be more to come!!

I was just wondering if you need someone to be an Archivist? Me and Snuffles would love to do it! Archivists record all of the pets that are adopted, and if we ever have an item shop of sorts, they keep inventory of what everyone has bought. it would mean the world to me if I was an Archivist!
