he looked up at her, the scarred half his face just a little darker than his skin, but his eye was the color of dried blood, the pupil a thin catlike sliver. The whites of that eye were black. he gave a bit of a smile, "I'ts starting to rub." he indicated to a spot on his jaw that looked a little raw.

he cut the dough into even pieces and rolled them into balls before streatching them out and putting them in the frier
