Troubled Teen~
You're depressed, violent, emotional, or scared of everything. Sometimes it's a mix of all those things. No one wants to be your friend, you never knew who your real family was. You were in an orphanage for all you can remember. You try to look strong on the outside, but on the inside, you're longing for someone to care for you, a shoulder to lean on. Someone to dry your tears at night and someone to make you happy on the holidays that you've never really gotten to celebrate.

Now, maybe that chance has come. The orphanage set up a new program for ages 14 to 17. You aren't given a choice about taking part in it, either. They tell you the program is going to help, that it'll make things better. A bunch of unemployed soldiers, police men, or firefighters meet you one day in the local High School gym. Each one has a number, and you are given a card with a matching number. The one with the number matching yours is your mentor. The person who you'll be spending the next whole summer with, and maybe, the rest of your school years.

You just got out of the service, weather it be a firefighter, soldier, or policeman. You still long to help the community in some way, you want to do something, have someone young to keep you active. You've thought of having a dog, but that's just not the same. You see an add in the paper looking for Mentors for troubled teens, and you call. A few days later, you get the letter saying you were accepted and your given a number. The plane tickets are there for those who need one, though most are local. You may not be the most paitent of people, but you're single, have nothing to do, and want to find a way to help an issuse that isn't given enough attention.

Order Of The White Lotus

The four major elements are fairly well known. Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. The Avatar is claimed to be able to bend all the elements. But the world isn't made up of just Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

If there are only four elements, then why are there eight petals on the white lotus, and why are there nine circles in the very center of the White Lotus? Why is the Order Of The White Lotus kept so secret, and who else is part of it?

In the ancient days, there were many more benders. But they didn't just bend Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. There were benders for each petal, and each circle in the White Lotus symbol.
The center was for the Avatar, master of ALL elements.
Then there was Shadow, Light, Mind, Blood, Weather, Earth, Air, Fire, Water.
Eight Elements. Eight Petals on the White Lotus.

Shadow, Light, Mind, Blood, and Weather were forgotten by most as the benders began to disappear. But if Blood bending was discovered again, what if the other are re-discovered? That was what the Order of the White Lotus dreamed of. Keeping alive the nine elements. Before, many years ago when the nine elements thrived, the Order of the White Lotus was founded to keep the peace among all the kingdoms. The Earth Kingdom had been smaller, and there was equal land for all the benders. But the Earth Kingdom got over confident, and war started. Many of the benders lost their homes and their family, and with that, they lost their hope and their will to keep fighting. Thus, four of the eight elements perished and were forgotten by all who were outside of the Order of the White Lotus.

Now, those elements are coming alive again. Blood bending is already spreading fast, and though it is used for evil, a few who live secretly use it for good. Shadow benders are hiding in the shadows, coming out at night to feed from the darkness and peace that the night time brings. Mind benders often sit in public places and read, or will send thoughts and ideas and dreams to children or people who might have a rough road ahead. The Weather benders are often the news reporters, or live isolated from others, where they can change the weather as they please.

Live the Legend. Pokémon Shifters - Semi-Literate+

We're living the legend.

Whether you asked for it or not, you're not normal. You always knew that, you always knew that you were different from everyone else. Ever since the day you were born something was off about you, whether you were born into a family of some of the finest pokemon trainers or breeders, or if you lived in a scummy neighborhood. You had something that seemed to put you apart from everyone else. The reason of this? You're one of the extremely rare elite race of the pokemon shifters.

Able to change form of human and one pokemon individual. You're given a power that few know, and even fewer actually have. Given the "gift" [and in some ways the cruse] from an unknown and unregistered legendary pokemon, your power is given to you for a purpose. That purpose? Well, you have no idea. All you know is that you're going to try and live your life as normal as you can. Try to forget about your power best you can. Not that, that's entirely possible. Every Crest-Moon your body is forced in change, and you have to stay in the form for twenty-four hours, unable to turn back into a human. You "gift" has another off point as well, something that you may or may not know. Everytime you change, everytime you turn form, you're one step closer to your doom. It becomes harder and harder to shift forms, until the point you'll die from the shifting. Or if you're lucky you'll just go insane, and permanently remain in your pokemon form.

Whether you've been a trainer for a few years now, or if you're just new to the game. Either way you're still trying to make your way as one of the best trainers out there. That's why you're here in Johto, to become better. It doesn't matter if you're native here, or if you came here from another region. All that matters is that you're here. On the road to becoming the best. You'll try even more so than the other people, wanting to prove yourself just as good as everyone else. But soon you'll find that there's more to all of this than meets the eye, and you'll be on a adventure, not to only save your own life, but to save everyone.

The moment you turned twenty one you ran right out the door, whether it was home or college or whatever. Your parents may or may not have supported you, but the point is you had a dream and you're about to take that chance. From the moment you were born there was something different coursing through your veins. You were talented, gifted, could hear, see, do things that others couldn't. You looked at the world in a different way. But from where you're from, there was zero chance you would ever be able to make it. But in New York? You might just have an opportunity to make it big. So you move there when you're a legal adult and try to make a name for yourself.
But this is New York. Loft prices skyrocket, there's poverty, unemployment, and it's the perfect place where a kid like you will be squashed like a bug. That's what everyone's telling you, that is. You shouldn't be ignorant about the underbelly of New York: there are drugs, alcohol, gang violence, murder, and plenty of opportunities to slip up or mess up a chance of a lifetime.
It's certainly hard for such a young adult to survive on their own in this city. There are so many places where you can go astray. But there are others like you. Of course there are. You're not the first teenage idiot to risk everything and move to NYC. Perhaps you'll share a loft with them, become artistic rivals, or even form bands, groups, and acts together. Just remember: for the sake of your dream, you should be willing to make sacrifices.

Western Seas Boarding School!

♥ Intro

For the first few years of your life, you have been living with your cruel parents. You've been starved, tortured, and abused. But one day, you pluck up the courage to call the police. That very day, they arrive, guns in their hands. They arrest your parents, and are sent to jail for life. You have been given two choices of what to do; live your life in the orphanage, or attend Western Seas Boarding School, and you choose the school. So after you have packed your bags, you arrive there, to see many people, all seeming to enjoy the school.

After five years of not being abused, you have made many friends. You are at least fifteen years old, and you're only missing one thing; love. Love is the only thing that can patch up the hole in your heart, the cuts and bruises, the scars, and the horrifying memories. But will you find love, or will you be hurt again?

♥ Rules

♥ Please only make one or two characters, but keep the genders even. If you see that the role-play has seven girls and six boys, make a boy! The aim is for all characters to find love, whether they argue over someone or not.

♥ Keep everything realistic. Don't make somebody dive off a cliff into a river of crocodiles and then make the person have no injuries and not get a scratch or a bruise. You'll look like a complete fool, no offence.

♥ No one liners. This is not necessarily a semi literate role-play, but I am expecting about three lines minimum. Of course, if you have writers block, you may post two lines, but at least make them detailed. However, nobody has writers block all the time. If I only see you posting one or two lines which are crap the whole way through the role-play, I will remove you from the role-play, unless you can PM me and explain why this is happening. Otherwise, write as much as you can, with lots of detail!

♥ Try put in some drama. But not too much, or else the role-play just gets... not exactly boring, but annoying. Make sure you keep it realistic. So no, "Lord Voldemort pulled out his wand, shouting two words which I was unable to hear, for I was on the ground, blood trickling out of my chin. I am a lifeless body. Suddenly, I spring back to life, and a punch is swung at the older, nasty looking Tom Riddle, and he falls to the ground. I am not married to Harry Potter." This is not a Harry Potter role-play... and sorry for the lame example, by the way. Just keep it realistic, don't bunch up the drama, etc.

♥ Use your own form. Try make a big personality or description, but you don't have to. But please, do not say, 'nice, sweet, crazy, gets all the boys and is a really good kisser'. That is quite unrealistic, and short. You can say 'is a reasonably good kisser, boys fall for her often if she tries hard' or whatever, but.. not anything to silly. No perfect characters, by the way. ^^

♥ Crap, damn, hell, etc. is allowed. However, if you are swearing please star out the middle letters. S**t, f**k, etc. However, please keep swearing and cursing to a limit. Try to avoid it, but if you have to [for example, your character gets hit in the head with a basketball or a concrete block for building houses falls on your toe], you may swear, just remember to censor and star it out!

Western Seas Boarding School is a new role-play which I have created.. it's gonna be a blast.
So far there are three characters, and we start when we have at least four in each dorm...

The begining:
You come to a clearing, there are two paths. One path is very rocky and all up hill, the other has the sound of rushing water coming from it and is very smooth. Four cats emerge from them. Two smell like water, the others stink of dirt.
The biggest, a black tom with dirt matted fur looks at you and says, "Choose kittypet! The clan of the mountains has room, but we take cats of the toughest nature, not scrawny weaklings."
The cat next to him said, "This is one of my warriors, Mudfur, I am Rockstar, leader of Mountain Clan. Choose wisely."
The smallest cat smiled and said, "I'm Streamstar, leader of Streamclan. We take anyone, strong, weak, big, small, we find it best to accept all."
The other cat, an average sized tom said, "I'm Riversong, the medicine cat of Stream Clan. If you join us, you will learn to swim, catch fish and fight."
They all chorused, "Which do you choose?"
