Ravenkit plunged one last time at the badger ignoring the call. She went for its face when its tooth caught her chest but she broke throufh and snatched its eye. She felt pride welling up in herself and satisfaction that she could hold the proof in her beak she could handle herself. She flew just out of its reach.
