Taylor sighed in relief. "You're welcome," She took his hand and gently wrapped his fingers around the bottle. She released his hand, and hoped he didn't drop it. She then stood up to fix the tarp. She pulled it completely shut before any bats could invade the space. Gently, she adjusted a crate on top of the tarp, sealing the entrance. "There." [ sorry about short post, I have been out since 10:00 and have gotten back at 6:00 and it is very hot out side I have gotten almost no sleep last night becuase it was so hot. So ya, im pretty tired. ]

Max walks and walks in the heat, he has to stop at a cactus about every 15 minutes. ' The heat is to much ' He thinks to his self as he sees a tree and walks up to it. He takes out his stone throwing knife so he can carve stuff on the tree when he looks up. He looks up and sees Azeala. " Hey there" He starts and looks around. ' why is she up there ' He thinks to his self. " Want to be allies? and why are you up there?" He says backing away from the bottom of the tree so if Azeala does decide to attack the branches will save me. He studies her as he grabs out his water bottle and takes a sip, he than decides to sit down and starts asking questions like. " You with the careers? " and " How old are you?" and also " What district are you in?"

Azalea blinked, confused that the boy had just strut up to her and acted like they weren't in a fight to the death. She eyed him cautiously with her good brown eye, her dagger clutched tightly in her hand, ready to be flung into Max's body if necessary. She glared at him, fear entangling her heart. She thought that this must be a trick of some sort, surely? "I'm Azalea, 17, from district 6." She answered. "I'm sheltering." She said warily, her eye burning but she didn't show any pain, or at least she hoped she didn't. She could feel dirt and grime tingling to her skin. She hesitated on the question about being allies. "If your gonna kill me might as well just do it, I'm not coming down from this tree." She said firmly, a tiny golden shard of fear twinkling in her good eye. She didn't want to die.

" Well im not gonna kill you unless you want me to." He replys. " Hey want some water?" Max says as he put the water into the bag and ties it into a knot he can only un bide because he did make the knot but has kept it secret. " Or you can kill me and the bag goes with me up into the hover craft." He says finishing the knot and than tying it around his waist. " So, you wanna be allies or what?" Max says as he looks around once again because of the bats he is scared and probably will never fall asleep ever again. He looks at Azaela straight in the eye acting a bit serious. " You didnt answer me" He says sternly. " Are you with the carees? " He steps back 5 steps to get ready to duck if she does happen to throw it.

Azalea stiffly shook her head no. "Do I look like I am?" She growled, gesturing to her bloody eye and the deserted forest around them. She took a moment to think. She had no idea if she would see Leah again, and the boy didn't seem all that dangerous. She still shook her head no to the water though. "How do I know your not gonna kill me?" She asked him defiantly, her good eye glittering with the dying sunlight. She could see Max saw her dagger, and she knew it would probably be too late to throw it now. She still had it ready, just in case. She probably would say yes, because she obviously was in need of a new left side view. She could see Max looking around, almost fearfully, and she wondered if the forest really was deserted.

"The sun is coming out. We should-" Nick paused in his sentance to cough and take a drink of water. "Go look for others." he said and picked up his sword. He felt only a slight bit dizzy now as he skrewed the cap up and picked up his bag. "We can bring the supplies with us, and keep setting different camps up where we move." he said as he packed whatever he could find. "We will be set up while the others are living off cactus juice, daggers and lizards." the long-haired boy smirked. He knew that his hair was probably too long for him to be takes seriously, it was longer than any other tributes (even the girls) but he didn't care at all.

" Suite yourself " He says drinking some water and making clear its not poisonous. " Well I can just leave, if you dont want me to be allies with you" He says. " Well here are your options. Come with me you will be safe, maybe... Stay here and get caught by careers. Or go alone." He says looking around once again, ' Ugh I probably look so agitated I cant help it though!' He screams in his head. " Well if I were you I wouldn't trust myself since I am from district 4..." Max says but this time he doesn't look around. " But if I were from the careers you would be dead and I would be in a group. If I am here to bring to to careers well.. I am not sure, I guess you could just kill me. And why is your eye like that? I can help you with that, I have a couple bandages left and some quick healing stuff." He says shaking the bag and you can hear the liquid swishing around and than the out line of the box of bandages. I smile at her and look straight at her, into her good one eye.

Azalea felt fear pumping in her blood. Azalea stared him down, her golden brown gaze boring into his own. After a long few moments, seeming like hours, she said dryly, "Maybe..." She stayed in the tree, not moving an inch. "If I see so much as the flicker of something sharp, this goes in your chest. Got it?" She said, holding up her sharp dagger, blazing in the evening sky. She tried to conceal her terror of the games, she could almost feel the hot stinking breath of the disgusting creatures on her neck, hear the roars and wails, feel the slice of their sharp claws cut her skin. She suddenly had an idea. "Make this clear for me: can I trust you, or not?" She asked him, since he had told her that she shouldn't trust him since he was from district 4.

Max looks into her eye and answers. " You can trust me." He says than breaks out laughing. " Sorry, its just this is so serious." He says containing his laugh. " Well the cornucopia is over there" He points toward the cornucopia. " It is about 2 hours away, I was there because, well because. I dont want to talk about it." He shivers slightly and than looks around once again. He than opens his bag and pulls out the healing med and bandages. " So we should go that way." He says and points in the opposite direction of the cornucopia. He sighs and passes her the meds, he than looks behind him. " I wonder when the careers are finally gonna come out of there bat cave.." He says out loud.
