Jasper frowned. "Okay. Go sit on the bed with Mommy. I'm gonna go check, okay?" He said, and kissed their heads, then Cara and Lizzie's. "I'll be right back." He said, and walked outside.

Cam nodded, and crawled up in bed with Cara.

Cara bit her lip and frowned, nodding as she watched him go. Once Lucy had climbed up with them, Cara pulled them close.

The guy was still there, but this time on he road, looking more casual.

Jasper looked around, seeing a guy on the road. If it was one of the king's men, he knew they'd be tricky so he walked over.

The guy looked up at Jasper and put on a smile. "Hello sir."

Jasper gave a small nod. "Hello." He said. "My children said there was a man watching them." He stated. "Was that you?"

He man raised his eyebrows in surprise. "You mean the children in the front yard? Oh no sir, I was admiring your beautiful home."

He smiled and stuck out his hand. "Howard Moore."

Jasper smiled, shaking his hand. "Jasper Crawford." He said, not even remembering he was the prince. It was easy to forget when you have three kids, a wife, and a sick uncle and don't live in a palace.

Howard smiled and shook his hand for a moment. "I feel terrible asking this, but I've been looking for a place to stay...do you think there'd be room in your lovely home?"
