Dakota slowy held out his paws, small flashes of pain coursing through him as he held his paw at an uncomfortable angle.

Rainblossom watched as Veloci was made Thickpelt's mentor and Birch became Falconwind's.As the small crowd that had aquired around them broke up Rainblossom turned to Raptor,"So what are we going to do first.I mean there isn't much you can teach us,we already know how to fight and hunt."she pointed out.

Hazelclaw examined the paw, then looked up at Dakota. "Here, I'll help you to the medicine cat den. It'll be easier there."

"I know, but that's not really what "mentors" are for. Mentors are just to make sure you don't make a grand escape, and make sure you're doing everything you can in one day. This system is why our Clan thrives. The Clan becomes bigger, and they get to slack off a bit when cats like you are here," Raptor replied smugly. "We'll be hunting first."
