The leopard is the male, this is rather a pairing against his will, as he's an independent soul and the female wolf is head-over-heels in love with him, which rather annoys him a bit

Heartbeat has actually, erm, passed on u_u;; They were captured and she was disposed of, but Riki Tiki was spared because he was supposed to be sold off at a good price, given his unusual breed of raccoon rat. :c
