It's cute but I don't think it should be featured I am just stating my opinion and I'm not saying mine should but there are tons of better drawings that should be featured and never are. I like the picture and it is cute but cuteness shouldn't be why it is featured. It's a good drawing but I wouldn't have featured it myself.
Just going to quickly jump in here and give my reasons ;3
The featured art section has always been about displaying a range of talent, and anybody can be featured if they make something that's creative, attractive or just plain nice. I chose to feature this picture because I thought it was cute and funny, and also because it relates to a current event on CS (the lion craze).
I just wanted to say, I respect your opinion PFDC. I just drew this on a whim because I had a extra 20 minutes. I hadn't expected it to turn into this at all. Either way I'm still really happy it did, its my first feature so I'd be ok if it was a scribble. Not that a scribble would get featured o3o Anyway, I have seen featured drawing I was a bit put off about, but I just kinda grumble to myself. I've worked long and hard on some drawings and gotten nothing, but I realized I needed to stop drawing for CS and for responses and just draw for myself. And poof. Next drawing = feature o.O
I completely understand what your talking about PFDC, and I'm not offended at all. I've done exactly the same thing. I can remember how frustrated I've been about it too. I'll have to try now not to get featureds. I'd feel bad for taking up a spot when someone else could get their first feature XP
