Willowbreeze purred and she took a bite of the rabbit. Her tail tip flickered as she did so.

Butterkit nodded. "Yeah! But he doesn't want anyone else to know, just his mate and kits, which is us." She meowed, and Cloudkit looked up from where he was playing with a leaf. "He said he only had five lives left!" She meowed. "But I thought he only lost two lives since he has been leader, thats what he has told me." Cloudkit mewled. Butterkit nodded. "I know! He said he didn't even get nine lives, he said he only got eight!"

Sandyfern nodded, and she tasted the air for any signs of the two dogs.

Morningrain and Shadepaw bursted into camp. "Greystar!" They both yowled and the tom came out of his den. "Whats happening?" He asked them. "Sandyfern caught the scent of two dogs! She needs help of they'll kill her and Brazenpaw if they find them!" Morningrain meowed.

[walk.]

Duststrike took a bite and purred happily, his tail flickering wildly.

Shiverkit cocked his head and mewed, "What about the other life, how did he loose that and why did he only get eight? Maybe it was because Deathear wasn't dead then!" Shimmerfur nodded and mewed, "That is likely actually...."

Brazenpaw lay down and shut his eyes slowly, he was exhausted.

Willowbreeze purred softly and she took another bite.

Butterkit nodded, but she heard Greystar yowl for Emberheart. "I wonder whats going on out there..." She meowed. "Emberheart!" Greystar called, looking for his deputy.

[walk.]

Emberheart turned to look at Greystar and mewed, "I can scent dog Greystar.... Oh by star clan no, Firepaw! I sent her to wait for me by the Mist clan border! Greystar, I need to go and get her back!" he charged out of the clearing. Pondweed lay by Rosepetal's side but soon he was beside Greystar, a small bag on is back containing vital herbs.

Firepaw padded along the MistClan border, waiting for Emberheart. Sandyfern tasted the air and snarled. "Where are those dogs..." She murmured, but her eyes went wide as two large brutes came out of the shadows, snarling. Sandyfern's eyes went wide, she wouldn't be able to hold two large brutes for long. Firepaw scented the air and she smelt dog scent, she knew she had to wait for Emberheart, but she ran towards the scent.

Greystar flickered his ears and looked at Pondweed, then he looked at the cats in the clearing. Morningrain looked at Greystar. "We need a patrol to go help Sandyfern." She meowed and Greystar nodded. "Gather a few warriors." He meowed, Morningrain nodded and started to get warriors.

[walk.]

Brazenpaw leapt down and spat at the brutes, his pelt flying on end. He tried to keep his fear scent down but that was almost impossible with two large brutes snapping at your tail. Emberheart went crashing through the undergrowth and arrived at border. He cried when he saw Firepaw wasn't there. He ran straight towards the dog scent.

Sandyfern looked at Brazenpaw. "Get back!" She meowed, but she yowled as one of the brutes grabbed her by the back leg, and it shook her hard. Firepaw arrived at the fight and was about to attack the other dog, but there was a blur of orange fur, and a cat was on the other dogs back, and as soon as the cat was there he was gone, running back to SnowClan territory with the second dog chasing him.

[walk.]

Emberheart meowed when he saw Sandyfern and stood protectively around the apprentices as he saw Sandyfern. He mewed, "Go and hide in that log Brazenpaw, I have to help her!" Brazenpaw looked around and spotted a narrow log. The young cat slack into it, peering out of a hole. Emberheart leapt on the brute and bite it's neck hard, the dog growled and threw him off, into a tree. The shaking deputy arose as Yewclaw appeared. He said, "I may be of the dark forest, but I will fight for you Emberheart." he crashed into the dog.

When Yewclaw crashed into the dog, it yelped and dropped Sandyfern. Sandyfern winced as she hit the ground, three deep wounds were on her back leg from the brute. Firepaw watched with wide eyes at the fight, then she ran to Sandyfern, and she helped the injured she-cat to her paws.

[walk.]

Yewclaw gripped hard on the dog's back, then did a move tht stunned Emberheart. Emberheart looked over and gulped, "By star clan, Yewclaw is leader of the dark forest!" Yewclaw gripped tight on the dogs neck, getting the bone between his teeth, he sturdier himself before doing a 360 degree twist very sharply and there was a deafening crack and the brute's body went crashing down!

(Can you add the dark forest clan to the front page and just make up a few names for me and you to use?)
