Spectrum looked confused for a moment before smiling faintly, "I'm fine...it's just everything is so new and strange.... I mean the whole 'heat' thing and stuff..." She said softly.

Serenity watched him walk off, her heart sank. She lay down beside her foals, and closed her eyes. Not wanting to show the feeling pooling up inside. She knew there would always be a mare better than her, and that's when she realized what a big mistake she had made in joining a herd. Serenity pinned her ears and watched as both her sons began their first attempts to stand.

Myst shook out his mane, clearing it of water. Soon he would have to mate with each mare as he was supposed to. As long as they wanted to be covered that is. The stallion himself preferred not to do that, but didn't enjoy being berated for not covering each mare by his brother.

Fade lowered his head to graze beside Aurora, he could smell her heat scent but didn't want to cause drama between the mares in her herd so fast, "She's done this to all the mares we'v seen but I promise you that she will warm up to you soon."

Serenity felt tempted to leave her foals there, since obviously this new mare was so much better. Not taking into account that they'd starve. She lay her head down and closed her eyes, tempted now to never move and see how long it would take the herd to move on. She shook her head, trying to exit this mood swing she was having. She douted it would go away, "Well this is what he gets, the worst mare in the forest." She snorted to herself.

Spectrum shook her head, "It's my second... But no one was around to explain what it was my first time..." She said. The made was glad Adara was being so kind to her.

Sheera trotted around for awhile before going for a long walk

Fade turned his head towards the snorting mare behind them, "I'll be back." he said before turning and walking to his mate, "Serenity, I don't understand why you're so mad.. she's a mare in need of a herd so I offered one. You're still my mate and you mean no less than you did before she came along. Serenity.. I love you and you know I do. You need to think of what's best for the foals." he shook his head still disappointed in her, she couldn't really be this jealous.

Dakota nuzzled his mother noticing that she looked a bit mad. He cuddled up against her and laid his head on her arm.

Serenity looked at Dakota instead of Fade, deciding that currently she loved her colts a bit more than she loved Fade. "Except the fact that the second she wants a foal I'm sure you'll hop right on it. I'm sorry I'm not as mild mannered and perfect as her." She licked Dakota's muzzle, smiling at her baby. "I love you too, and nothing can make me stop loving you. But there are a million mares in the world, I'm sure she's a much better fit for you."

Orrin cuddled next to his brother, nuzzling his twins shoulder.
