Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

((Read what Soul said earlier on, he assigned warriors to hunters xD))

Raven smiled when she saw how excited her apprentice was. "Come along," she said, leading the way into the forest.

[keydemon]

((Oh, I guess I'll RP Jakei.))

Shiko lowered her voice into a whisper and spoke to Soul, "I heard the melody of the song in my dreams last night."

Jakei smiled at his apprentice, "Hi, Yuri, are you ready to go out soon?"

"Yes!" Yuri smiled and walked over to where the patrol was gathering with Jakei.

Leaf Fall went into the forest to hunt. His sister, Jupiter, accompanied him.

Soul's eyes widened, he knew better than to question the legitimacy of what Shiko was saying. "I barely slept last night, so I didn't really dream," he whispered back, "But it's insane that all the others would dream of demons while you dreamt of the song... Do you think it's a sign from Kinari?"

[keydemon]

"I think it might be because my den is next to the sacred rock..." Shiko's gaze flicked from the rock back to Soul, "It could be a sign too..."

[Lady Saga]

“No. I did not.” She said the words to Phantom without even looking at him, keeping her head down and staring at her paws. Just a little bit longer and she would be alright.

It was a relief to get their assignments though she did not want to admit that she was happy Copper was in the same group as her. She had enjoyed sleeping beside him, not that she wanted to admit that to the others. What would Phantom think of his apprentice then? Would he think she was always day dreaming about Copper and not focusing on her hunting? Before she could dig herself into her own little hole, Copper spoke up and before he moved away nuzzled her softly. She couldn’t hide her stunned expression and watched him head off to the group.

She’d be able to concentrate. Surely she’d be able to concentrate on her training even with him around. “Training. Time for training.” She muttered the words to herself and half towards Phantom before heading towards the group. Concentrate…and not on the three tailed warrior apprentice.

Hope walked over to Soul. "I dreamed of demons and the song, for some reason." She said.

"Hey Sadira, come on." Phantom called, flicking a tail where half of the hunting patrol stood. He began to walk closer to it, but stopped and waiting for her.

((Tears of Innocence, your character is only an apprentice so it wouldn't make sense for Kinari to send her a sign. Please try not to repeat previous ideas in this RP. Shiko came up with the idea of the song first and Soul is now talking to her. Therefore, I'm going to disregard what Hope said. I hope you'll understand and that you'll be a bit more creative in the future))

Soul sat in thought for a while before replying, "I don't think we should tell the rest of the leash about this... We wouldn't want all the foxes crowding around the rock at night and then if somebody hears the song and somebody else doesn't... well, that would be a problem. The more I'm thinking about it though, the less surprised I am... If Zargon's demons can enter our dreams and harm us, then why can't Kinari's song enter our dreams to help us?" Soul glanced at the rock before continuing, "At the same time though, I'd like to sleep here tonight and see if the song comes to me as well. The others will assume we're testing Copper's theory. If you'd prefer me not to though, I won't."

[keydemon]

"I don't mind." Shiko shook her head, "I have to organize more herbs and things like that." With that, she turned away from Soul. She paused for a second, then looked over her shoulder, "If you go out, you should go with another fox." Shiko then padded away.

Ryuu noticed the patrol was gathering, he began to walk out of the forest with the hunting patrol. "After hunting, we can train." Ryuu grumbled to his apprentice as they walked.

Yuri walked closely next to his mentor as they searched for some prey.

Soul sighed as Shiko went to her den. He padded towards his tree stump and jumped up on top of it, letting the sunlight warm his dark red pelt. He stretched and turned in circles a few times before settling down and dozing, trying to catch up on last night's lack of sleep.

"I thought we were just going to go to the training clearing today," Copper chattered as he skipped alongside Ryuu, "Aren't the hunters going to train their apprentices too? I'm sure they'll be able to get some prey there while we train!"

[keydemon]

((By the way, guys, foxes are omnivores, so I think hunting patrols should have to collect fruits and nuts and things too.))

Ryuu snorted, "Protection first, training later."

"Okay, Yuri." Jakei smiled, "We're going to learn how to catch birds today." Jakei stopped in front of a fat robin and indicated to it. "The key is to remain silent like always and kill it fast so it doesn't send out an alarm call. Also, aim high when you pounce, because it's sure to begin to fly away."

Yuri listened to his mentor intently, he nodded after Jakei had explained what he should do. He focused on the robin, looking a little bit above the robin. Stalking up slowly and quietly, he took a giant leap. He landed right on top of the robin and crushed its neck with his paw before it could let out a cry. Yuri held the robin up, his eyes shining with pride.
