Ooo, I first thought of a Mesoamerican theme on these new pups! I've been studying alot of my heritage, so I guess it is bias that Aztec and Mayan was the first to pop in my head. Not so much the blue, but the reds that made me think of it. Course, it influenced how I named the pups {very simply mind you} as Uno, Dos, Tres, Cuatro, and Cinco. Heh, I sure will be embarressed if they turn out to be a different theme, though since we don't know who did these {perhaps Tess?} then it would be hard to tell what influenced the artist.

Honestly, we won't know till someone tells us. Hah, I'm just rambling, I'm very excited about these new pups!

I think Tess did because she's been online lately and it doesn't say "By So and so" next to it. I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

I would like to place my guess on Eastern (To me) Culture, with my biggest bet on India and my runner-up bets on Australia and New Zealand. (If that makes any sense, I'm tired as hell right now). They look slightly Aborigonal, but I, admittedly, do not know much about that culture)

I have friends in and from India and that reminds me of the style and the coloring (Expecialy the reds) Points to them.

But man, watch it be Native American theamed. that would be so... awkward x3.

Ambrose-- I wouldn't say it's Australian, since it has some very solid stripes, and most traditional Aboriginal artwork I've seen consists of coloured dots, mostly in earthy reds/browns/yellows, black and white. I'm not sure if I've seen blue in it at all, even. xDD

My first guess was Native American, due to the colouration, the markings, and the design on the blanket, so I think I'll stick with that. It certainly has that kind of "feel" to it. :p
