Chloe trotted to his side,Her short coat against his long coat,"Well my owner keeps me from the forest,Well tries because im in heat." She tilted her head and smiled,"Nice name Amak."
He smiled shyly once more, head falling down. "Strange, I didn't pick up on that. Maybe it's because I'm young." Amak than chuckled, his wolfish grin back. "My owner, Markus, lives just in the forest, right on the town borders. My parents still live in the town but they've grown really old so it's rare that I'll see them. And you're name sounds very sweet, Chloe."
Chloe licked his cheek,"Im young too,Only a year and few months and im sorry about your parents.Lets go to the barn it's located at the end of town and all Sled dogs sleep there."
As much as a dog could, Amak blushed pink in the cheeks though it couldn't show through his thick coat. "Same, I'm only a year and two months, and don't worry about them. They should be able to enjoy their elderly life in peace away from energetic youngsters." He nodded, answering her on the second. He was excited to meet other dogs, the ones he's never seen around before.
Chloe started to run forward,Her paws carring her fast and far.The fae smiled back at Amak before going under the towns fence. She started to trot through the streets hearing people say 'Chloe has a mate!' she sighed and looked at the Children and Adults.
Amak followed closely after Chloe, his blush darkening at the sounds that bombarded his ears as they flattened against his skull. "Ah, is there any way to tell them I'm not your mate?" He paused while his eyes widen. "Not that there would be anything bad about being your mate! I just... I'm, uh..." His head lowered in embarrassment, tail shyly flickering from side to side.
He blinked, "I, uh... Okay?" Amak was a little confused but did as Chloe instructed, carefully placing his large jaws around her neck, applying little pressure so his sharp canines only just pinched her skin. He stayed like that for a moment before pulling back, licking around his mouth. "How was that?"
Chloe saw the people walk away sighing and looked back at Amak she smiled,"Were no longer 'mates.' anymore." She giggeled and looked at the barn that was a yard away.Chloe trotted forward and nudged open the door and stepped into the warm barn.
The warm Amak felt rustling his fur made him release a strange sound; one that sounded like a kitten's purr mixed with a bears growl, shaking the fallen snow out of his pelt. "Ah, okay. Sorry if me being around you made human suspect I was your mate," he smiled, apologetically.
