Xxetta was standing up now and trying to comfort the hyperventilating Kodaro. "Koko, chill out!" She said. "I'm fine now. You don't need to worry so much." She noticed the Kishin's soul left alone. "Well, at least we defeated it. ^_^" She said, trying to lighten the mood. She went back to talking quietly with Kodaro.

Crow sighed, and glanced around. He could either eat the soul, and get his 85'th kishin soul, or he could leave it. He left it.

Yuri nodded, " yep!" she sat down, and sighed.

Xxetta sighed also. "I feel pathetic. It almost killed me just trying to defeat one Kishin, haha." She twirled her hair. "I geuss this means we need a bit more training, mostly me." She blushed then smiled. The same thing that had distracted her when they were fighting the Kishin was bothering her now, but she tried to ignore it.

Kodaro sensed something disturbing Xxetta, but just shrugged about it, probably nothing much. He chuckled a bit when she said she needed more training, realized he had laughed in front of people, and slapped his hand over his mouth.

Yuri smiled, " actually, you're really good out there. I just think you were distracted." She then looked at Kadaro, " lighten up. It's okay to laugh, ya know." She laughed herself, a melodic laugh.


Crow rolled his eyes, and nodded.

Xxetta couldn't help but smile. Yuri's laugh was contagious.

Kodaro blushed. He had made himself vulnerable, at least that's what he thought. He would always be a vulnerable weakling. It's not fair! He thought. Why can't I be normal like Zee-chan? Why can't I live a normal life? His eyes brimmed with tears and he excused himself from the group and walked away.

Crow looked at Kadaro, and followed.

Yuri put an arm out to try and stop Xxetta from doing anything, " I think, mainly because i trust Crow, that we should see what happens." She nodded, trust filling her eyes.

Namimi suddenly got impatient and picked up Corra. "Come on, Corra, Ume," she said. "I can't wait any longer. Let's get going," she said, and started walking.

Xxetta grimaced, her eyes pools of sadness. "Poor Kodaro." She said softly. "He had a.... rough past. I'm one of the only people that knows his full life story." She sighed. "He's... so afraid of the world. There's almost nothing to describe him. He's special. I try to help him but he just doesn't cooperate."

Kodaro sat alone under the shade of a tree, writing in the dirt with a twig. So many different thoughts were going through his head it hurt. He bit his lip. He wanted to drive all those thoughts out of his head. Swiping at his eyes, he glanced up when he thought he heard somebody coming. He prapared himself to run just in case.

Crow walked up and crouched down beside him, " sup." He just sat there, and didn't pester him about why he seemed hurt. He somewhat understood the kid.


Yuri nodded, " Crow did too. But after awhile, i guess he just bundled all those feelings up inside." She sighed, " I guess we're an odd pair, me and Crow. But, it seemed he would work with me better than any other Miester."

Xxetta smiled a bit. "Yeah, you two are great as partners." She thought for a moment. "I suppose I might be the only one for Koko-kun, too." She giggled. "Don't tell him I told you about his nickname." She smiled again.

Kodaro shifted uncomfortably, afraid to run. But why should he run? If Zee-chan trusted Crow, he should, too... Having Crow next to him was adding more thoughts to his head, mingling with the others. Should he talk or keep quiet? But he couldn't talk, secrets would come out.... But he should, on the other hand, it would make him feel better. Right? All of this was confusing him. He sniffled. Wait! He thought. I'm thirteen years old! I shouldn't be crying. What's wrong with me? I can't be like this in front of Crow. I knew it, I'm a wimp. What do I do? His confusion grew and he buried his head in his hands. Why am I crying?!

Crow looked at him, " i'm not asking you to talk." He looked up, " i'm just here." He watched as the clouds went by.

Yuri nodded, " thanks, and you and Kadaro work amazing together. I won't tell him, about the nickname, either." She then sighed, " you seemed distracted. I was, kinda wondering, why."
