MIDNIGHT
I smile at my family."We'll be alright...everyone's at the other lake." I nuzzle Shadow and look at my pups.

THE BREAK OF DAWN
I search around and check for the wolves in the pack."Some still aren't here..."

HAGESHI
My memories fade back and I want to bring my mothers body here to cover. I try to get out of the river, hoping no one will notice me.

HUNTER
I yelp at the feel of someone on my tail. I turn to see my bro, Rusty."Stop, not now..." I say as I nudge him playfully.

THE START OF DUSK
I glance and look for all my pack members. I race out and see Sorren and Sorrel...and Dusty not too far in the distance."Everyone! Come on! Let's get to safety..."I start running back, nudging the three to follow as burning branches fall around us.

Terra ran faster to get to the river. She let out a screech as a branch landed in front of her.

Jewl ran through the forrest. She spotted terra and ran sn grabbed her scruff and sprinted for the river. She weaved throught the fire, but a burning branch suprised jewl and it landed on her back. Jewl screeched in pain. The river was in view now. Jewl got up and grabbed terra again and sprinted for the river.

Sorren ,Sorrel &Cobalt.

Sorrel pricked her ears and swung her sodden head around. "DUSTY!" She swam as fast as she could to get to shore. She leaped out of the water and onto Dusty, soaking him. She didn't care. "OH, DUSTY! I'm SO sorry I ran out on you! I didn't know what to think! But now I do...I love you too!" Sorren snorted as his sister and the brute hugged. He turned his gaze over to the shadows. He saw a pair of cheeky blue eyes. Cobalt stared out at him. Cobalt was relatively dry, so he quickly removed the last signs of water and stepped into the large "gathering" of wolves. He said in a clear, sly voice, "Quite a fire, quite a fire, eh?" he smirked. He had a plan.

Shadow
Shadow nuzzled Midnight back, "I'm so glad everyone got out, wait, where's Cherish?"
Rusty
Rusty growled at Hunter and then cocked his head at the strange jackal.
Twilight
Twilight balanced on the log, whimpering.
Dusty
Dusty hugged Sorrel, "Come on! We have to get out of the path of the fire." He jumped into the river, Sorrel close on his heels.
Pine
Pine hissed at Cobalt.

My thoughts jumble in my head."I think she went to bring the rest of the pack to the lake...she said she would stay there too, if there wasn't time to get here...we'll look for her after the fire's gone alright?" I say as I hug her tightly.

Jewl held terra in the water then looked around for dawn.

THE BREAK OF DAWN
My eyes wander the river, searching and finding all the wolves here...I see Jewl watching me.I walk up to her."Are you alright?Your back."I point out , I see it's badly burnt."Lay in the water for now alright?"I motion her to do so.

THE START OF DUSK
I race back to the river and whine in pain as a burning plant rubs against my left side...I run faster and dive into the river, my side instantly cooling off. I sigh in relief.

Jewl sighed and put terra down in the water. She laid in the water. Her back sent waves of pain all through her body and she yelped in pain. Her back was pink and some of her fur was Burt away. She looked up at dawn.

THE BREAK OF DAWN
I smile at her."Feel a little better? As a beta I have to be a medic...so I know how to handle wounds...now after the fire, I'll collect herbs to help everybody alright?Just hang in there Jewl."I say as I gently nudge her cheek and go to help Dusk, then come back to comfort Jewl.

Jewl shrugged a bit,"it burns. " she said with a small smile.
