Well, same case here, but I can deal with it for being paid. *shrugs*

Dude, you have to admit, it's easy enough to imagine the horror of Cameron being in our archery class. Luckily he probably wouldn't show up for tutoring to keep up his "I hate you" disguise... (really no point though when he randomly shows up behind us so often and we can't shake him... so not a coincidence...) But really, there's plenty of other creepers at our school too. Besides, who could resist the super-genius artists who also happen to have killer archery skills? xD Lol, JK

Hmm, dunno. If it was someone I knew I'd be able to be calmer for a longer time.

Yeah, you don't just follow people around, even when they ask you to stop, just as a coincidence >.>

Pfff, that's no joke!! You know it's true!! You forgot to put gamers in that list of awesomeness.

Barebow shooting. It equals = <3

I can't believe it. My mom said she'd finally get me a hay bale for archery practice (my arrows always go through my target into the bushes and it's not fun trying to find them in there) if I was up early enough to go to the store with her, and I told her to just wake me up and she says "Ok". I wake up and it's already 8:24!! D: I needed to be up at 6 for the hay!

Got the "straw", happy dance now! (We asked for the hay at the store and they're all like, we don't have hay, we have straw! *gasp*)

You know what, that's a good idea. I'm rather irritated right now and shooting something would be a good stress relief.

Lucky, at least you have room to shoot. xD I've been banned from shooting at the moment because if the arrow ricochets it might hit our above-ground pool. (My target isn't flat. Or soft. So sometimes the arrow hits it and then flies off the the side.)

DUDE. Hay bales are the best. Excuse me, I meant STRAW bales. x3

Anyways -
  • The sound is quieter and more of a thump. Why anyone would care, I don't know. But it sounded nicer to me.
  • The arrow sticks straight or nearly so, therefore doesn't interfere with shooting multiple arrows.
  • The arrow doesn't go through the target, causing you to go play hide and seek with them.
  • Because the arrow doesn't go through, you can see which one of those punctures in the target is the one you actually just made.
  • No damage to arrow tips.
  • Another reason not going through the target is great - it doesn't pull at the vanes and cause them to tear off in part or whole.
  • They're a good, cheap backboard - I got 2 bales for about $8.
  • The arrows are super easy to pull out.
  • It doesn't matter if your target's been torn to shreds in a couple places, because the way the arrow sticks straight.
  • It's just funner when you don't have all the crap that cardboard boxes, packing foam blocks, and random bottles from the kitchen give you.
