((Ughh... Yesterday I read a post that was here, but it has disappeared because of the server thingy. Oh well, I'll just carry on with what Jack would have answered))

Jack shrugged, sitting on a stone in the courtyard "Not much" he said, picking up a stick and fiddling slightly with it "I know how to herd animals, cut the hay, dry the food... all the farm things" he smiled slightly "Though I can shoot with a bow, and I know how to make them. I also secretly visited a blacksmith, who taught me how to handle a sword, so I know a bit of how they are made" he shrugged again. "I suppose that could be of some use"

Arowin
Arowin let loose the stolen horses so that they could join the herd in the courtyard. She would take them to market soon but not now. She stroked Brander's neck softly singing to him a sad lullaby. Chris was no where to be found again, not even his mare was around. She should have known better but she thought he would have at least stayed this time. It was too much to hope for though as he wasn't here now, maybe something important had pulled him away again, maybe he would return soon.

Emerald listened and nodded. Well farming wouldn't be of much use, but the sword and bow making would be. "Then, you'll be in charge of weapons. You'll fix them, remodel them, clean them, ect. You know, the weapons stuff. You'll be most helpful there, I'm pretty sure." she said with a smile. She felt much better now that Jack actually had a job, and he wasn't just another member. Envy whinnied and she looked over at her stallion, but then noticed that Arrowin seemed quite upset. "Um, if you'll excuse me Jack. I need to go speak with my second in command for just a moment. Frank can show you around for now." She gave a small wave and then walked over to Arrowin, a worried look on her face. "Are you alright?"

Jack nodded silently with a smile, glad to have something to do, and not be a burden like he had always been. He then glanced over to Arrowin, seeing that she did seem upset, but he shook his head with a shrug, turning to Frank. The man hadn't said hardly anything since his arrival, and seemed to do everything quietly. Even his horse seemed rather calm, as Geal had gone over and immediately made friends with Diad. Jack smiled, waiting for orders to know what to do.

Arowin
Arowin glanced up at the sound of footsteps and faked a smile. "I'm fine." she said and hesitated for a second. "He isn't here Emerald. He just came back and he is gone again." she said turning back to Ace and stroking the grey gelding. She shook her head and stood tall again. "It doesn't matter anyway." she said giving Ace a gentle shove away. The grey tossed his head and took off towards the other horses at a trot. Arowin turned around with a smile plastered on her face, hiding was what she did best. "Want to come join me for a bit of Archery practice?" she said.

Frank nodded at Emeralds suggestion and turned to glance at the new boy "Come on then, I best introduce you to the place" he said with a rough voice and hefty sigh, signalling the lad forward as he strides towards the hideout, his steps uneven and himself wrapped tight in his cloak, his illness from the winter had still yet to leave him and obviously he still looked pale and bony, but some colour had returned to him, that and he had managed to grab a shave once in a while. As Frank stepped forward, he pushed open the door which lead into a hallway and held it for the lad, who obviously seemed comfortable in Franks prescience, which for most people was a mistake.
