Finally June issue is up. I apologize for the lateness and not getting back with everyone. Now that the issue is up and out, I will be going through the PMs and then the Posts today and tomorrow, will be sendin out the new Assignments. I kind of like the Idea of informative or advice columns. But, I do have to agree the staff is for the most part pretty shakey....... I think we need to spend at least three months without a sudden staff changes or people forgetting before we consider anything else......

But, can't wait to see if there's another summer event...... *paces eagerly for my turn*

Agreed. There are many ideas i would like to add, but we need to be solid with what we have.
i hope there is an event this month as well, but I guess we will just wait and see.

uhm . I was just wondering if I could just be a stable artist for either the fursona of the month or the character of the month, and choose the character myself. Waiting for Cali usually takes a long time ( which is not her fault, since it might be the replier's late reply ) and I only have a few days before it's due x.x

I'm afraid that once I get busy, I'm going to have to plan what to draw earlier then that so that I could turn it in time.
Also, in this pace, all I'd be able to do is sketches or quick headshots, and I really want to give better art then that :d[/center]

A misspelled staff name from the End of the Month Breakfast dog litter:

May I make a suggestion about the images for the End of the Month? I notice they are all on photobucket so I believe it would be quite easy to edit in the missing outcomes. It's the one thing that seems to bug me every month since there always is outcomes that grow late and get added but some others seem to be done when only half the month is over and they don't include any of the other outcomes. With photobucket, if you have saved the updated version of the image, you can just delete the pic and put it back up again. The link won't break but the updated image will show.
Plus most, if not all, of the pets are done growing by the last day so I don't see how it's a problem to get all but maybe 1 or 2 outcomes on those images but for the past few issues - June is missing 5 outcomes (6 if you count the missing SunPlush); May is missing 5 as well; and April is missing 9 outcomes!

Also, I think it would be neat to include what has been said around the Discussion thread. It seems odd that there is no mention that Tyr's Breakfast litter was inspired by Eggs, Bacon, and Toast... or the mention that Selcouth's litter was slightly inspired by wallpaper (plus the PPS of that litter was one of the first to grow and not in the image). I understand that it's 1 person's opinions on these things but perhaps a little "Most users are seeings these as ____ but I, for one, see ____" or "The artist confirmed this litter was inspired/based on ____ but to me they will always be ____".
Or the reviewer could PM the artist and ask if they missed the issue it in the Discussion thread?

And it would have been a nice addition to add a little thing about the convention and the SunPlush that was adopted out. A quick interview with a member who went would have been neat to read. Though, I can understand the SteamPunk items not added since they were put out on the last day of June.

Eh, not the best issue out, in my opinion. Look forward to this month's though. <=3

The convention (And sunpup) were left out on purpose, since we didn't have enough time to organize it being written. I think we had scheduled it to be in the paper next edition, but we'll have to see if that is still possible due to time spend on it.

I do agree about yer picture comments, it sorta bugged me as well that not all the pets show up. And the text seems a bit short as well, i think we all had to write at least 3 to 5 sentences?. I haven't read all of the paper, just skimmed over it real fast, but i'll read it tomorrow.
