Kendall grinned, and the bell rang. She wondered where Tammi was.

Nick looked at the door, knowing his sister should be coming. She chuckled.

Tammi walked into the bathroom to waste time.

Kendall waited for the teacher to start. She wondered what Tammi would say when she came in late.

Tammi sighed and said to herself "Time to head to class, I guess..." and walked towards the math classroom, thinking up excuses she'd give the teacher.

Kendall heard someone walking down the hall. It must be Tammi, she thought.

Tammi stepped into the classroom and, hoping to be unnoticed, sat in the first empty seat she could find.

Tammi, who sat on the other side of her, whispered, "I don't think the teacher noticed."

Tammi grinned then shrugged. "She'll notice eventually..."

As if on command, the teacher, an uptight older woman, glared at Tammi. "Ah, Miss Winters, I see you've decided to join us."

Tammi nodded. "Yeah, I had nothing better to do, so I accepted the invitation of coming here!"

The teacher glared at her and snapped "You don't have a choice of coming to class or not. You aren't invited, you are required to come here."

Tammi shrugged and nonchalantly said "Oh, sorry, I get those two things confused."

The teacher sighed and said "Miss Winters, must I invite you to detention again?"

Tammi nodded "Alright, I'll take the invitation. When should I RSVP by? My schedule is pretty booked though..."

Kendall tried not to laugh. This was pretty funny.

Nick bit his lip to keep from laughing.

The teacher scowled and raised her voice. "Miss Winters, must we go through this every time you are late for class?! This is school, you can not pick and choose what you do. You must listen and respect your teachers." Spit flew out of her mouth when she spoke.

Tammi smiled and said with mock apology in her voice "Oh, really I am so very sorry. It won't happen again." She pouted.
