Bu Loka knew better. She was shocked at the kiss, and if a giant bear hadn't been there, it would've been a perfect moment to cherish. But, there was a giant bear, ruining their almost cherishable moment. She made it look like to Trevor that she was running away, but she made a sudden turn and ran back, so that she was behind the bear.
_____________
Nala ran up behind Shadow. "Hey there, big fella." she said, sitting beside him.

Trevor shook his head when he saw Loka come back. "Stubborn thing ain't ya?", he yelled as he bit down on the bear's snout, he had the jaw strength of a hyena, and sprays of blood came up when he was thrown off by the charging bear. It shrieked, but it didn't back down, it was the biggest one he had ever seen. He felt a sharp pain in his side and saw that he had landed on a tree branch, it had pierced his skin and was sticking out of his leg. He grunted in pain but went back and slashed the bear's belly.

Loka almost screamed when she saw Shadow in pain. She swallowed her voice. She was pretty angry with that dumb bear now. She smirked evilly at the bear and snarled, trying to keep the bear's attention off Trevor. She jumped on the bears back and tackled him to the ground, using only half of her strength. After all, she was mad with Adrenaline rushing through her.

Trevor used all this weight to come down on the bear's head. He grabbed it's snout in his teeth again and bit down as hard as he could, breaking the bones in it's snout. Now raggy breathing sounds came from the writhing bear, it couldn't get a good amount of air, and it was starting to suffocate to death. Trevor sat back and huffed, his mouth bleeding from bone that had cut him. Now was time to finish it off, he jumped one last time at it's throat crushing the windpipe, the bear stopped breathing and Trevor sat heaving.

Loka stood in shock. Trevor was hurt, and she knew that even if he denied that he needed help, force him to some water and she had to take care of him for the rest of the day. "Um, Trevor." she said, hoisting the muscular male onto her back. "Stay on my back, if you jump off you're only hurting yourself." she instructed, and began walking to the lake. When she arrived there, she found a shallow patch and dumped him in. She washed all the blood off and told him to soak for awhile. She was still shaking from the day's experience, and it was still only afternoon.

"Probably." Nala agreed. She looked over at Shadow. He looked so strong and kind.
